Dem pollster: What Obama really needs is an Oklahoma City moment
Hot Air ^ | NOVEMBER 4, 2010 | ED MORRISSEY

Occasionally, political pundits get so wrapped up in their analysis that they don’t think through all of the implications of their commentary. That happened to Mark Penn, longtime Democratic pollster, in his appearance on Hardball last night, in the most charitable explanation possible. Eyeblast’s Joe Schoffstall clips this magic moment from the discussion with Chris Matthews on how disconnected Barack Obama has become from the American electorate, and what it will take for him to reconnect, using Bill Clinton as an example:

As one who lost a personal friend and fellow AF vet in the Oklahoma City bombing I wonder if the liberal pundits will volunteer to be sacrificed in order for Obama to have his “Oklahoma” moment.

Why does ANY Republican go on Hardball. Talk about stupid move.

He has chris matthews yelling at him, and the Dummie laughing at him.

Obama had his OKC moment and it is called the Fort Hood Massacre. I would hate for our country to have another OKC moment or another 911 moment. I find the suggest, Obama needs this type of moment to connect with Americans, to be offensive.

I hope that people don’t have to die to prop up the communist.

This is so wrong in so many ways.

I was here in OKC during the bombing and lost a personal friend and fellow AF vet, an officer I was stationed with twice. I remember when Clinton came here for the memorial service. Afterwards, everyone I talked to thought Clinton was as phony as a 3 dollar bill.

The msm elevated him to sainthood. Even watching him on TV most of us knew he was a horrible person. A fraud.

So sorry for your loss. I am sure it is still painful.

My God! Every time I slow my roll and try to reason with myself that the majority of DemoC_Rats really believe their own pap and are just misguided, one of them opens their mouth and shows how truly evil they are!

That is a simply appalling thing to say!
