Posted on 11/05/2010 6:27:25 PM PDT by rabscuttle385
Insiders say President George W. Bush thinks Sarah Palin is not qualified to be the president, according to a NY Daily News report.
The paper says Bush also criticized Sen. John McCain for putting her the 2008 Republican ticket.
It doesn't identify any of the Bush friends and sources by name and it quotes one unnamed Republican official who says that McCain's Palin decision made "Bush think less of McCain as a man."

And JUST WHO care WHAT Bushie 43 thinks.
Uh, we don’t know that.
What does he think of Hussein?
Apparently someone does. This story was planted in the media this morning, and FReepers have been yelping like dogs since.
To borrow from Laura Ingraham’s book title, perhaps X43 should “Shut Up and Retire”.
Before trashing Bush why not make sure the story is actualy true. I know that some Freepers believe everything published, but let’s wait and and see, mkay?
Anonymous sources quoted in a liberal tabloid don’t impress me at all.
Are these the same “insiders” who are always trying to convince us that UFOs and “global warming” are real? “Insiders” doesn’t cut it. We want some names. Without some names, this is nothing more than just commie ‘RAT vomit.
And who gives a flying what the NY daily news SAYS what they THINK GWB has said?
Uhhh he never did think much of conservatives being a Rove fan as he is
Bush is a big government, big spending establishment Republican, so theres no surprise here if this is true.
lol - it never fails.
Sources...insiders...sounds like bullsh*t to me...or perhaps someone who is just too yellow to man up to what he truly believes.
I liked Bush but his failures led directly to Obama. His judgment is not so hot.
I don’t buy it. This is coming from the Romney or Obama camp.
Bingo. It’s an attempt, the first of many, to split us up.
What did Ben Franklin say about that?
And it has already been posted and dismissed.
Get with the program. I know you must be despondent at the Republican victories this week, rabs but you'll get over it some day....
Maybe it’s PR to get us to buy his book.
“Before trashing Bush why not make sure the story is actualy true”
I agree. I think this is the msm getting ready for 2012. They know GWB will not comment so they are taking liberties.
So, are the pubs really ganging up on Palin, or is the media trying to imply that the pubs are ganging up on Palin? This is about the 4th or 5th story about some republican or another speaking out against her.
Maybe the RINOs are ticked off because their boys, Crist, Castle, and others, didn’t win their elections. If so, it’s time to find the RINOs and purge them. (Actually, I think that the purging process has already begun.
You’re not over the target if you’re not taking flak...
If Bush is refraining from criticizing Barack Hussein Obama, then it doesn’t seem likely that he’d be going around criticizing Sarah Palin.
For a 300+ thread check this one:
Bush wont critique Obama (or Palin)
Bush wont weigh in on Obama and Palin
No politics or punditry for George W. Bush
Bush on Oprah to be aired next Tuesday:
OPRAH: So your brother Jeb was recently asked by CNN if he would support Sarah Palin for president. Did you hear that? In 2012.
PRES. BUSH: Yeah.
OPRAH: And he responded, You betcha. Do you think that Sarah Palin is the one for the Republican party in 2012?
PRES. BUSH: You know, I am not a political pundit. Im really not. And secondly, a lot is gonna happen between now and the nominating process. I I have no clue.
OPRAH: Im not asking you to pundit.
PRES. BUSH: Yeah, you are.
OPRAH: Im just asking you your opinion.
PRES. BUSH: Youre asking me to wade back into the swamp.
OPRAH: Come on in. Come on in.
I have as much evidence for my claim as the author of this article.
Why bother with the truth when we can exercise our mindless BDS and get to say nasty things about President Bush?
Truth never interferes with Bush haters' venting. It's not about thought. It's about FEEELINGS, whoa-oh-oh FEEEELINGS! ;*)
The poster of this thread is one of them who sows dissension for the fun of it.
It's not bull[crap] unless it sticks....
The hope is to create a Bushbot vs. Palinista flamewar. All it will lead to is Bushbot vs. Paultard.
About all that can be said on the subject is in the above thread.
They are the masters of creating dissension, which is why they jump on and agree with the leftists who are trying do the same thing. They're the hapless foils for the leftist ploys.
I watched that, the whole thing is nothing more than a media attempt to put words in the mouth of George W. Bush and he didn’t fall for it. Watch for the whole thing to be repeated as truth before long. They start out with “unnamed sources” and then the phony “story” gets a life of its own and people forget that there is no real basis for it.
Who cares what Bush 43’s friends think that bush43 thinks!!!
Tread carefully in these stories - they keep citing unnamed sources, while pointing the finger at established Republicans. If they can't directly quote their source, then it's probably BS.
I call them Frumites.
Useful idiots for the left.
That is so libtard.
Yep, their tools alright.
And another thing - the left, which includes the mainstream media (and a few party insiders, probably), hates Palin and they hate the Tea Party. They want to detach both from the Republicans as quickly as possible.
THEY DO NOT WANT CONSERVATIVES TO BE LEGITIMATE.
How many times are you going to post this POS? Loser
Excellent and spot on.
I had some guy (not sure if he was a Paultard or not, but he was sure acting like one) quoting me Huffington Post and Media Matters just a few hours ago.
Thanks. Of course, a tactic once understood...
Please pay attention to it because we will see what Republicans are in on it, and who is not. It will be telling who is willing to wait for the primaries, and “may the best man win”...or who is willing to use the liberal press to warn off Palin.
It will be telling.
But this stuff with President Bush is not warranted at all, he has made it clear he wants to stay out of the swamp.
Eh... that just doesn't ring right. I'm not buying it. That just doesn't sound like something he would say, or the way he would say it, even if he thought it.
I find it hard to believe that Bush would speak negatively of Palin behind her back. That just doesn’t fit his character.
Why, WHY doesn't Palin renounce McCain?
