If the Tea Parties are rebuked by the main stream GOP then we make new party! Its not about who has their hand in the til—its about if there will be an America as we know it in the future. If we must move to the so called extreams to save the Republic—so be it. Sarah Palin has done more with her tweets than Mitt Has with all his rich words—same goes for Glenn Beck. The days of the RINOS and their lets get along message is done. People are hurting and out of work as jobs go to Mexico (or illegals) or India or China. Globalism is the enemy, the UN and her corruption is the enemy. The leftist neo-communists are the enemy. The Multi-culturalists and PC wackcos are the enemy. The big Unions are the enemy and the something for nothing crowd is the enemy. These foes of the republic need to be ripped out, laughed at, and humbled. Wake up America before its too late.
Prediction time: Prices on food, gas and coal will go up, up and up. The Dollar will sink (look to see the $10 big Mac coming) and fold up. More unemployment, more welfare, more riots in the inner cities. The nation will veer further left with rationing. The the Army will march on Washington to Defend the Constitution. A Junta will rule as Obama and Congress will be arrested for treason. Duties will be imposted on all items coming in from Mexico or Asia. No more Wal-mart as all items sold MUST be made in America. America will slip into a fascist state. The nation will be saved but at what cost?

She cannot win a national election because the has been successfully marginalized by the media. Independents just aren’t going to come out and vote for her.

It's way too early to say this, plus you're repeating what the journolistas are trying to get America to believe. Just read the amount of articles that are saying the same thing that have been posted in the last few days, there are at least a dozen with the same kind of talking point. It's all journolista meme, and it's too bad you're falling for it.

They said the same about Reagan, and they will say the same about ANY candidate who is not a liberal. "They're dumb, divisive, unelectable, mean spirited, hate the poor.....blah, blah, blah."

It's amazing. The Socialists just got their clocks cleaned across the country, and it's the Republicans who seem to have all the "problems," according to the media.

Saying that Palin cannot win is asinine. Either pull your head out of your arse or move to another site.

"Palin can't win. The media have marginalised her".

Seriously, change the record. We do not judge our candidates by what the media say about them.

Palin is the best candidate of this generation. There are other legitimate contenders, and that's all to the good. But she's the standard against which they must be judged.

My opinion has nothing to do with the media. It has to do with conversations with real people who vote. It’s not a small sample size made up mostly of white male professionals from across the country. They tend to be mostly conservative, but when asked about affiliation would claim to be independent. They don’t like Obama, but would not vote for Palin.

She would get stomped in a presidential election.

The MSM is just trying to stoke a feud between Palin and the GOP cocktail party elites.

The so want to be able to choose our candidate in 2012, a la John McCain't. They know most Conservatives don't like Romney, and he's the media's favorite because of that.

The main thing we have to keep in mind is it will be the PEOPLE who elect the president, not the GOP elites. We have the elites in a bind, because they see the popularity of the TPM and Sarah Palin, and they know if the don't pick her that a big write-in campaign might develop, and that would hurt them, and probably insure a democrat win.

The GOP elites are really hoping the MSM will do the job of alienating Palin from the public, so they won't get the backlash.

It's all a big game from the RINO lap dancer division of the GOP BACK ROOM, and they're playing right along with the MSM.

Well, she hasn't declared, so we'll see. She will have to put forth her ideas for a year and a half and people would then decide.

You are not seeing (perhaps you're not capable of seeing this) that the same sorts of attitudes were said about Reagan, just 9 months before the election of 1980.

And it does have a lot to do with the media. Reagan overcame them, as have others. There is no reason for you to be saying she can't do the same.

Plus or minus on the thoughts here... let’s face it, most of the Mama Grizzlies sank on election day... but maybe the voters just won’t be ready for them until ‘12.

If you think a winning candidate is someone the media seems to favor, then Romney is your guy. Even better, McCain would be a great choice for you.

Point being, as a Conservative being represented by the Republican Party, I will not support a candidate the media anoints for the nomination. I will support a candidate who best represents my traditional values and beliefs. As of now, I don't have another potential candidate other than Gov. Palin.

Going back to your reply, regardless of who the nominee is, Gov. Palin will be a target to the Left and it's media. Should a nominee use the Governor, they too will be demonized by the media. Should the nominee decide to shun the Governor, they will also alienate many of her supporters (including me), providing for another four years of a Democrat President.

There’s definitely a battle going on for control of the Republican party. I said all along that in order for Angle to beat Reid, she would need to overcome the Democrat machine AND the RNC. In the end, it was too much. The sad truth is the RINO wing of the RNC would rather see Harry Reid in office than Sharron Angle!

I think neither side emerged the clear victor in this election. The conservatives won some and the RINOs won some, so don’t expect either side (especially the RINO side) to back down. These RINOs are just as power hungry as Democrats. See Lisa Murkowski for more details.

That said, running her for president will guarantee 4 more years of Obama.

You are a brave soul. Hope you have your asbestos suit on. ;-)

My email to Gershon....

Michael,

Palin is the solution, not the problem. Being the liberal you are, you just don’t get it.

If you bothered to take a look at the national political landscape (http://www.foxnews.com/interactive/politics/election-map-2010/#race=racesInPlay&pres=false), you would see that the vast majority of this country is conservative.

The national Republican leadership “The Establishment”, is totally out of touch with the rank and file Conservatives. Take the 5th Congressional District in Alabama. Parker Griffith was elected in 2008 as a Democrat. He rode the coattails of Bud Cramer and squeaked in by proclaiming himself to be “conservative”. He got to Washington and fell right in line behind Pelosi and company. Seeing the major political backlash of the healthcare vote, he switched to the GOP right before the primaries.

During the primaries, John Boehnor came to North Alabama and had a fundraiser for Griffith. The “Establishment” Republican leadership welcomed Griffith with open arms. THEY DID NOT LISTEN TO THE LOCAL CONSERVATIVES IN NORTH ALABAMA!

The conservatives were frothing at the mouth to vote Griffith out of office. Griffith was crushed in the primaries by Mo Brooks, then Brooks routed Steve Raby (who ran as a “conservative Democrat”) by 18 pts in the general election.

What Boehnor did is exactly what folks like you keep advocating – Move to the center. I’ve got news for you, the “center” is way to far to the left. Palin recognizes that. Many Americans recognize that. That is why 75% or so of the candidates endorsed by Palin won. The big names who didn’t win, O’Donnell and Angle, were hung out to dry by the “establishment”.

You see, what you don’t understand is that conservatives don’t want guys like Mike Castle in office. He would carry an R by his name, but basically vote as a Democrat. We’re tired of that and would have rather lost the seat than than elect a RINO.

Sarah Palin understands that. She may or may not be the answer as a presidential candidate. But she understands it and is not afraid to call it like it is. If you look at that map closely, you will see that the vast number (geographically) of Americans understand that, too. It is the elitists such as yourself and the Republican Establishment who think you understand what America needs. You don’t know. You don’t understand.

Continue to write your nonsense in the Post. And continue to be wrong.

Watch it - this is part of a week-long media attempt to separate conservatives from republicans. I almost fell for it yesterday, but the plethora of stories saying essentially the same thing (republican good, teaparty/palin bad) has convinced me that this is a bunch of BS.

This is coming from the left. It is a “divide and conquer” tactic.

I'm not sure what I see as Sarah's future roll in the Republican Party. All the speculation about her running for President in '12 is offensive to me because the only reason the Left is asking that question is so they can laugh at the naive conservatives that follow her.

As much as I hate to say it, and I truly hate it, the Left did their job well when they decided to destroy her. It was a truly brutal and ugly attack on a highly respectable figure! Fair or not, in the end, she was left diminished.

Rather than run for President or Chairman of the Republican Party, I would love for her to create a sort of foundation, coalition, whatever that would support truly conservative candidates and causes.

Actually, most of the “Mama Grizzlies” won. Susan Martinez, Nikki Haley, Mary Fallin, Jan Brewer, and almost all of the House endorsed “Mama grizzlies” (one is in recount).

The only real losses were Fiorina in deep-blue California and O'Donnell in deep-blue Delaware. She didn't endorse Angle until after the primary, as then did everyone else.

If you were counting on winning CA or DE in 2012, you need to temper your expectations. Otherwise, Palin’s track record was almost unblemished this election with “Mama Grizzlies.” In every swing state and red state (save for NV and Angle - already caveated), the “grizzlies” won going away.

The only real question is: can she win the necessary states, particularly Ohio, Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, Virginia, etc. I would dare say she not only can, but would win those states.

I think that we really need to get a feel of what people outside of FR think about her. I've heard more than a couple of people that claim that they don't like Sarah Palin, and that they think she isn't very bright. They never have a reason for that claim, but they think that she's stupid and that's that. The question is, can these people be convinced otherwise?
