This excellent article was published in the Detroit News (which can't be posted here due to copyright complaint).
It is an excellent response to the RINOS and "moderate Republicans" who are whining and crying how the Tea Party lost the Senate for the Rs.
Here's the link.
Yes, it is a good read.
Question: What in this article discusses RINOs though?
They need to build a few nuclear power plants offering essentially free electricity forever and entice big manufacturing back.
No point in mentioning the legalized MAFIA that calls itself "organized labor". They're death to everything around them, sad to say.
Funny thing is that I think Rick Snyder pulled a lot of the state legislators across the finish line and he’s a full on liberal.
One of my liberal cousins tweeted that he thinks he made a mistake in voting for Snyder. LOL
Voted straight rep. in Michigan, but don’t know much about the new governor except hes not Granholm...I don’t get local TV channels...don’t read the papers either except my little town paper....I did hear gossip he’s a rino, but don’t know for sure...he’s not granholm so anything is better than what we had...
ping
I can recall Granholm being a rising star in Dhimi politics one so bright they were whining about the “natural born” Citizen requirement to run for the Presidency.
As good as the GoP’s win is, putting an end to Granholm is also a nice perk.
Don’t envy snyder though, he is the first Governor in the US’s history who truly has to deal with a populace downturn along wtih an economic one, in some ways MI reminds me of the Soviet in the years after the collapse.
Huge naval bases they could not afford to maintain, empty houses, they had to manage the plane crash in order to come back stronger today.
Kennedy's went after Hoffa so hard because with the teamsters he could and would shut down trucking from coast to coast...
My son in an independent trucker and I told him 45 years ago if he tried that he'd either be dead or have a burned out rig, and possibly both....
Possibility might get another conservative, the old union rank and file are dying off, Hoffa's gone and the young of today aren't too big on unions, plus Detroit population and Flint and other union towns have lots of unemployed union workers that don't trust union boss's any more...... At least one can hope....
One of the main reasons that I will never buy a UAW built vehicle is that the union is seeking to destroy the country. I will not contribute to that in any way, shape, manner, or form. Since a portion of the purchase price is union dues (salary paid to union employees pays union dues), I will not buy their products. Better to let them go out of business.
I will not buy a Ford, for the same reason. Hussein Motors is off the table for the obvious reasons as is Chrysler.
Detroit, if you want my business, then you need to break the UAW. The country needs to send a clear message to the management of the car companies that we will not buy their products until they break the unions.
I won’t buy union-made beer either. Look for the union label. If it has it, pass it by for others who are not union made. It’s the only way to break them. Deny them jobs. No Budweiser, Miller, only Coors is non-union (their beer isn’t very good, but I’m not drinking it for the taste). Why is drinking Coors light like having sex on the beach? They’re both F-ing near water.
John Cromer of Detroit and Lalahni Wessinger of Ann Arbor celebrate Tuesday night after Rick Snyder rode the GOP tsunami into office
If you were to re-read the original post, you'd see he said this article is a RESPONSE to RINOs: it doesn't discuss RINOs
I'm holding off commenting on Snyder until he has had a chance in office. However, I admit to continuing to harbor some doubts about this guy...
C'mon, Ricky! Prove me wrong!!!
To me, here's the main point of the article:
"Michigan Republicans, like their counterparts across the nation, reorganized and restored their party beyond even their greatest hopes by riding the national wave of discontent with the president and the Democratic Congress."
Great post!
I, too, refuse to buy a UAW-made vehicle. They are an enemy of America and therefore, my enemy.
I knew it. The only people I know who voted for him in the primary were dyed in the wool dems.
Rick Snyder has one outstanding resume.
If you would like to be added or dropped from the Michigan ping list, please freepmail me.
I just hope Snyder will be a reliable Republican. My expectations are pretty low, so as not to disappoint myself.
