Why California will stay blue
San Francisco Chronicle ^ | November 8, 2010 | Jane Junn

While the rest of the nation went red in Tuesday's midterm elections, California emerged even bluer. What's going on?

The standard answer is that registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans, and that many decline-to-state voters lean Democratic.

But there's a more telling reason, one that promises to keep California blue for years. The state's rising numbers of new voters - newly minted immigrant voters, minorities and voters between the ages of 18 and 29 - are overwhelmingly Democratic in their preferences.

Warning to the rest of the nation. The huge influx of immigrants into California has created a socialist state. Not that this is news but at least the college professor is admitting to the strategy. We white folks need to just get old, die off and this country will turn into a paradise.

The problem is, well for us in the other 49, we’ll be picking up California’s tab.

The NEW ballad of Jed Clampett for 2010
Come and listen to a story ‘bout a man named Jed
Poor oil entrepreneur barely kept his family fed
Then one day he was working for some food,
And up through the town come a bumbling clown
(Brown that is, take a toke what a joke)

Well the first thing you know old Jed’s taxes are to much to bear,
Kin folk said Jed move away from there!
Said Kalifornia is no place for you to be
So they loaded up the truck and they moved from Beverly
(go’n back to the Hills they are, fish’n holes, country and western stars)

Well now it’s time to say goodbye to Jed and all his kin
They would like to thank you folks for kindly dropping in
You’re all invited back again to their new locality
To have a heaping helping of their hospitality
(Redneck Hillbillies, is what the press call ‘em now,
Clingers of bibles and guns and to Obama no bow!
Nice folks Y’all come back now, ya hear?)

And because Republicans are leaving the state, too.

That is a Federal Republic in action. People can move between the various states based on each state's policies.

Wait till the state goes officially bankrupt and even the most basic services get slashed. Wait till the thousands and thousands of public employees see their pensions and benefits disappear. Wait till all the contractors are told by the Govt. - “sorry, your bill is not going to get paid.” When the finances go completely red - so will the electorate.

And the productive class — voters that vote Republican — are leaving Crazyfornia for states with fewer looters.

But Karl Rove and Bush said that family values don’t stop at the Rio Grande. The Republicans should listen to Rove and Mort Kondracke. The GOP should advocate “comprehensive immigration reform” and make kissy face with La Raza. /s

But there's a more telling reason, one that promises to keep California blue for years.

The reason why it won't is because reality sucks and it sucks extra big when one pretends it doesn't exist.

What conservatives out there have to do -- and really do it out of compassion -- is to be courageous, stay on message and be clear about what they stand for.

The bunch that likes to vote Democrat likes refrigerators and electric lights and televisions that come on when you hit the power button even more.

California is the model for the rest of the country, unless there are major changes. I do believe last Tuesday was the first step in those changes.

The bottom line, there is not enough money for all the programs. California will soon be on its own as Uncle Sugar is under new ownership. There is no rational reason to live in Cali anymore, if you are there, get out before it is too late.

The problem is Cali is exporting political views, this could be fatal to neighboring states ....

The people living there imagine that we are going to let them saw off the coastline and turn that part of California into a people's republic.

Maybe we will, but they don't get the water. All that stuff flowing past Sacramento can be turned around to go to Fresno!

And they don't get to cross the new national border into the US.

Demographics is destiny, they say. White women decided they preferred feminism to raising, or even having, children.
