While Bush expressed no regrets about the invasion of Iraq, his book promotion has featured significant self-recrimination about the 2005 federal response to Hurricane Katrina. He has repeatedly expressed anger and pique over rapper Kanye West's claim that Bush didn't "care about black people," calling it the worst moment of his presidency.

GW Bush has regrets. Everyone does but it’s a standard declaration these days to say you have none because you’re too cool for such stuff

Unlike most people, I believe he made the right decision. He did not establish a precedent to be used by a less scrupulous president for sending troops, national guard into any place in this country. So, IMHO, he made the correct choice.

Yes, I despise Obamao, and no, I don’t miss Bush. I was reminded of that after listening to about ten minutes of Rush’s interview today.

So protecting 'our' borders and locking up 'our' border patrol agents .. was the "correct choice"?

I am watching GW on Sean Hannity right now. Nice interview all in all. GW is saying how on the day of 911 he knew his job was to protect the American people. He did that as far as Iraq and Afghanistan but he let our nation be invaded via the Mexican border. That gives him 50% success at protecting America

Uh, what has that to do with Katrina and establishing a precedent of sending troops into a state against the constitution?

Nothing to do with Katrina ‘but’ he was asked .. many times to send the National Guard to Arizona to secure the border and to .. BUILD THE DAMN WALL .. Which IS constitutional!
He did neither, instead, he allowed the imprisonment of two Border Agents .. Hell .. He Helped in their prosecution!
