All from 1984 Train http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8pcMb8QuAg

It's Morning In America http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EU-IBF8nwSY

The Bear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpwdcmjBgNA

#4 Inflation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O364Qnwd7v8

#5 Foreign Policy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cU1bmFoYPPo

#6 Peace http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzfF6E-tx7o

From 1980 - Democrats for Reagan - hilarious http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYXnL3ns3w8

From 1980 - How Reagan saved Calif http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIpmHjOLCsM

Moonbeam's pa had bankrupted CA.

TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: election; mondale; reagan; sovietunion
All from 1984 and I think all done by Michael Deaver. The last 2 were from 1980.

Someone posted today how Reagan could have won with left controlling the media. About the only one from 1984 I can watch without seriously choking up is the bear commercial. The Train and Morning in America are too much to handle. I also love The Bear commercial.

The ones I remember most vividly are the Bear, which I didn’t think was that good, and the Congressional commercial from 1980 featuring someone that looked like Tip O’Neill with the tag line “The Democrats are Out of Gas.”

Good. I was there when Reagan told Gorby to pound sand at Reykjavik. You sound like a friend of Teddy Kennedy.

I stopped the “Peace” one. All of them brought a smile to my face and made me sit a little taller. But a tear started and I wanted to leave it there.

America’s best days are ahead.

Americans are winners.

Americans can do more than any peoples on the face of the planet.

Americans need leaders who believe this and want the rest of us to believe it and work for it.

:-) You can watch the 1980 one Democrats for Reagan. It is hilarious. Ted Kennedy essentially campaigning for Reagan.

You will have a good chuckle.

Now that’s funny.

That was after that Tard Lard wrote his letter to Gorby.

Too funny in retrospect of what he have learned since.

Oh, I know! I just watched The Train and it literally took my breath away. OK, now where do I go to vote for the guy?

These are great. I would love to see some from 1980 against Reagan to show how they compare to anti Palin ads today. I lived it but would love to show my kids how they treated him as well.

See that red-haired guy lifting that wall at 0:13?

Yes that's right, it's Doomonyou.

Nice one! Cool. Much better than being the guy standing by the bear.

It’s hard to imagine another leader like Reagan coming along in my lifetime. If anyone deserves to be added to Rushmore, it’s him.

The coolest part was the $8,000 I got for the shoot.

My wife was in the audience in front of the Brandenburg Gate when President Reagan gave his speech to “tear down this wall.” Still makes her shiver when she sees it on TV.

Thank you for posting this. I was stationed overseas in 1984 and this is the first time I have seen these ads.

I can watch the 1980 ads. I cannot watch the 1984 ads without tearing up. One reason is Reagan, another is they are so effective and finanly I get to see what we had and what we have now.

I think Michael Deaver did them and they were so effective. They would not work unless it was Reagan and that he had started improving things in the USA.
