BET Founder Warns Dems: Lose Jim Clyburn, Lose Black Voters

(News One) — The founder of Black Entertainment Television is warning Democrats that pushing Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) out of leadership means losing black voters. Robert L. Johnson sent a letter to the House leadership and the Congressional Black Caucus underscoring why Clyburn should be whip over House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.). To be clear, Johnson has no vote, and this leadership position will be determined by private ballot in a closed Democratic caucus meeting. But the Johnson letter seems to be more of a public relations effort on Clyburn’s behalf.
Put the guy who is worried about Guam in charge !!!
This is very much an “inside the Beltway” issue.
Dang few black (or white) Americans know or care about it. And even fewer will remember the issue in two years.
The dims should make him the minority leader (pun intended). This is the same guy who insisted the Republicans filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights legislation.

The ‘rats own the black vote and they know it - in the long run, Clyburn or Hoyer won’t make a damn bit of difference.

Within the party, as part of the primaries and caucuses, depending on state, they are 30% to 50% of the party's voting strength.
That means they PICK a number of the state committee chairmen and can have even more influence on how party campaign funds are distributed.

This clown is either prentending that he could deliver on that promise, or he sincerely believes he could deliver.

They can stop showing up to vote (however many times they usually vote), and they can stop pushing their neighbors to show up and vote.

Not quite a syllogism but here goes: Obama is a mulatto; mulatto’s are part black; blacks are liberals; liberals are communists; communists are murderers; I guess that covers it!
