Word has it that she will be paid $1,000,000 per episode for 8 episodes
Eh. I'm sure "Alan Grayson's Florida" and "Dennis Kucinich's Ohio" gets twice that amount.
Did any of these people fuss when Al Gore 'quit his job' in politics and became a 'documentary' film maker?

"She somehow devines that Palin is "clearly very dependent" on her husband and claims that the Palins are 'so white, they make the Bushes look like runaway slaves.'"
This says much more about Linda Stasi than about Palin. White? Weren't John Kerry and Bill Clinton white? Isn't Linda Stasi white? What's the point? And isn't Palin's husband part Native American?
Dependent on her husband? What's that supposed to mean? In some ways, he's more dependent on her - she's making most of the money. But, again, what is her point? Here we have just another envious feminist who sees - but can't admit - that Palin is having a lot more fun than she is, and can do a lot more things.

What a lovely family. I can't wait for them to take the same pic on the White House lawn.
Although the "Northern White House" lawn has a prettier backdrop.

The funniest thing about the article is the dismissive note about Palin’s fears of being stalked by McGinniss. The article mentions that Mc. has RENTED NEXT DOOR. In a state as large as freakin’ Asia, the man LIVES NEXT DOOR to the Palin’s even as he is writing a hit piece on her. This is coincidence?

I cant believe the LA Times gave a bad review to Sarah Palins Alaska...Just cant believe it!Whether it's bad or terrible, the dumb bastards are giving ink and paper space to Sarah and the TLC program and that's all anyone doing an entertainment show can ask for.
The ratings will be AMAZING to the lefties, but those of us on the right that will cause those ratings won't be shocked.
At 9:00 PM this and every following Sunday night, off goes football, and on comes the Palins driving the commies into hysteria.
I'll have at least one TV tuned to it so that cable will count it, regardless if I'm watching or not {but I probably will be}.

Isn't Linda Stasi white? What's the point? Linda Stasi's so white, she makes Gene Shalit look Flava Flav.
It doesn't mean anything. NY liberals love to act like their whiteness somehow has more soul than the whiteness of people who live out in the rest of America and say words like "Golly."
They feel all Malcom X-ish, I guess, at their white wine soirees because they sport a African motifed silk scarf they picked up at Nordstroms. And they watch Oprah, which keeps them attuned to the inner city zeitgeist.

Sarah Palin is the ultimate "American Idol" politician. Plucked from relative obscurity... Yes the cream always rises to the top while the LA Times and Mary McNamara sink into irrelevance.

Another left wing rag dying a slow death. They can’t even give that paper away. The other day I was in my local Walgreen’s. The LAT had a guy working inside the store offering dirt cheap subscriptions. The next day, I received an email from them offering the Sunday Times for an entire year for $9.88. That is 19 cents a copy folks delivered to your home. Who is hurting now???

Can you imagine the liberal uproar if - say - Andrew Breitbart moved in next door to Valerie Plame while he was writing a negative book about her? He'd be called a creep and a stalker; they wouldn't dismiss it as inconsequential.

Did I miss any?

I’d rather listen to Palin on Discovery talk about Alaska then to hear Obama on American Idol talk about himself.

Yes. I suspect we’d hear a thing or two about that.

Really looking forward to this series, onyx! I have been to Alaska once, and for a very short time. Love the geography up there.
