Seizing? Makes it sound as if the Repubs did something illegal .
Little words like this are part of the tricks the MSM uses every day to make us look bad in print. The way to combat it is to be aware.
They make it sound like the Republicans rode into Washington on the back of the tanks. Next they’ll say John Boehner is the second coming of Augusto Pinochet.
I know these people like the back of my hand. They never change.

Correct. Every word from these spoiled communist brats is deliberately chosen and repeated.
“seizing control” is how they describe electoral victories of Republicans.
“swept into power” is how they would describe the electoral victories of Democrats.
I even recall hearing the phrase “the Bush regime”, but of course it is always the “0bama administration”.
