A conservative advocacy group on Friday called on the Justice Department to investigate a weekly prayer session on Capitol Hill that Muslims with terrorist ties have been participating in since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The American Center for Law and Justice, founded by the Rev. Pat Robertson, issued the demand one day after FoxNews.com revealed that notorious Al Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki was among the controversial figures who has attended the weekly Friday Jummah prayers hosted by the Congressional Muslims Staff Association during the Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations.
The group held prayers informally for about eight years before gaining official status in 2006 under the sponsorship of Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., one of two Muslims currently serving in Congress.
"It is unbelievable that the very terrorists who want to destroy America are permitted to meet in a congressionally sanctioned setting on Capitol Hill," said Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of American Center for Law and Justice. "This raises a host of significant questions – including concerns about national security.
"We're demanding that the Department of Justice conduct an investigation and take immediate action to halt what appears to be a pattern of inviting Islamic extremists with ties to terrorism to participate in these events," he continued.
The Justice Department declined to comment.

Amazing how Democrats love every anti-american faction. Luckily they are in the process of becoming isolated and marginalized due to lack of funding. A Democrat with no free money left is headed for the trash can. They will be on defense now. Fighting for all the things that require huge amounts of OPM to distribute. We are going on chemotherapy. By that I mean we have to go broke in order to rid ourselves of the Socialist Cancer. To me it is worth it.

Sleazebag politicians indulging spoiled people whose numbers grow by leaps and bounds every year. I just don’t know if we are tough enough as a society to withstand such a shock anymore. I pray that we are but it is a hard call.
Yes it is worth it. Never give up the ship. The funniest thing is that the Republicans will ban earmarks just as Alaska elects the Pork Queen Murkookski for just that purpose. Just Deserts? Also the small states like Hawaii, Vermont, Delaware etc with Democrat Senators will take it on the chops. Sorry about you having to take chemo. GL.

When the Obama-Holder DOJ declines to protect America from this 5th column in the heart of our national government, the next GOP house must have hearings and call all "Congressional Muslims Staff Association" (CMSA) members to testify under oath. They must be identified, investigated and exposed.
