Video Report of Swedish Sub That Sunk The USS Ronald Reagan (Did China Use One To Fire Missile?)

Ever since WWII, America has been a dominant force upon the high seas. We have become so advanced in our military technology that the Soviet Union eventually collapsed, in large part because Ronald Reagan would not back down against them. In honor of his accomplishments and great leadership, congress named the worlds largest aircraft carrier after him, the USS Ronald Reagan

Thanks to Reagan, America has been able to set the standard for which other nations have wished to achieve. Well it has been 22 years since Reagan left office, and while we have been able to hold our status as the worlds most powerful military force the world has ever seen, those days could be coming to an end. Thanks in large part to the anti military sentiment that prevails in Washington, America is beginning to lose the battle of technological advancement.

What you will see in this video is a report about the HMS Gotland, a Swedish submarine that the US Navy says, "This could be the most dangerous submarine in the world". That's because naval ships cannot detected it until they are so close they would already have been sunk. Something that has happened in war games time and time again. Even our best and most powerful naval ships have been repeatedly sunk in mock war games. Check out this report by Chuck Henry of channel 4 news out of San Diego. Henry reports that the US Navy is attempting to figure out how to detect the Swedish submarine before our enemies can discover the secret of its elusiveness.

I am glad our navy is trying to figure out a way to detect this sub before a rogue nation like Iran or North Korea gets their hands on the technology for it. However, it should be other countries trying to figure out how to stop us and our equipment, not the other way around. Which brings me to the million dollar question, "Why are we even in this predicament"?

Well it begins with the fact that most Americans do not know that the US Constitution explicitly states that the number one job of the United States Government is to secure the borders of America. That's right. The founding fathers knew that it was incumbent upon the government to defend our interests on the high sees so that we have a fair chance of trade via the oceans and now through the air.

Too many Americans do know realize that the founding fathers never planned for the government to supply social spending for programs that would turn Americans into lazy unproductive citizens, who would constantly demand more of what they themselves are responsible for. Most of all, they never expected the government they created to be giving away our rights and money to people who are living illegally within our borders. The governments should be defending our borders from all who would do us harm, not defending the rights of illegals over the rights of citizens of this country.

When a sizable portion of the citizens of any nation puts out their hands and demands more and more from other Americans, who are fed up with the high taxation just to accommodate them, will inevitably fall from within. If we cannot stop the bleeding from within, then we will not have the funds needed to keep our military strong. When that happens we will be unable to defend ourselves from the likes of China, Russia or any other rogue nation hellbent on destroying us.

Like Johnson, Carter, and Clinton, before him, Obama is now in the process of destroying our military so that we will not be able to defend ourselves, thus ending our sovereignty. This is something the leftist have been wanting to see happen for almost a 100 years. The proof of our failures are right before our eyes. Now we just need patriotic leaders who not only recognize those failures, but are also ready to reverse the damage done by years of unconstitutional socialist spending that has left America vulnerable to attacks by our enemy's.

Well just this week we saw what could be a result of liberals having control of our nations pocket book and military. The recent news CBS video report (below) about the contrail that the military says was from a plane, but many are claiming to be from a missile contrail is what I speak of. Now this Swedish sub story becomes very relevant to the current debate about our military readiness.

What are the chances that China may have purchased a few, or stolen the technology for the type of submarine our Navy cannot detect? After, I have learned that diesel-electric subs from countries such as Norway and Australia have scored 'kills' on US and British ships in exercises. Maybe none as dramatic or as consistently as the Swedish sub, but it's not inconceivable that a Chinese Jin-class SSBN (Photo at op of article) could be modified to come close enough to a US carrier. Or at least close enough to our mainland to fire a missile into the skies so a news crew could film it.

Let's just say for arguments sake that China wanted to send a message that they own us economically, and with the idiot Obama in power they could also own us militarily. If I were China and wanted to send a warning shot over the good ship USA'a proverbial bow, then I would do it at a time when we are vulnerable. What better time than when Obama has high tailed it to India with 34 war ships in tow?

Think about it. America's MSM is still preoccupied with their take on the Democrats historic defeat and there is a whole the size of the moon in the Pacific where there was once 34 war ships. Perfect time to test fire a missile from a modified Jin-Class SSBN, just to see if you can. After all, the Chinese know that the Democrat propaganda machine, the MSM, will cover for Obama and lie to the American people even if they do find out. Besides, what's the worst thing Obama would do to China if he found out? Burn down his old neighborhood maybe, but he would never admit he was caught off guard. No, Obama's busy trying to figure out,

How can we blame this on George Bush?

But what makes this sub so dangerous is it's engines. They are quiet, like a diesel-electric on batteries, but can stay down a long time, and make long moderately fast runs, without having to surface, like a nuke boat.

So, do you think the author is on to something here?

I agree - if the Chinese wanted to send a message there are very powerful ways to do it without firing missiles that close to our territorial waters, especially without giving warning.

If it was a missile fired by the Chinese (which I don’t think is the case) we need to tell them in no uncertain terms that next time we will have no option but to regard the launch as a nuclear attack on our nation and we will launch 5 ICBMs for every every one of theirs.

Ya gotta love it when people with no military background speculate on military matters.

So, are you some sort of military elitist and the rest of us should STFU and go to the back of the class and let you tell us what to think?

It is snobbish attitudes like yours that this current adminisatration is full of.

Why did you do that? I posted the whole article. Unless someone wants to see the video, they never have to leave FR.

Just curious, because I see you doing that all over the place in different threads.

Are you a moderator?

Does One Vike pay you to pimp his blog or do you do it pro bono?

Have you forgotten who the POTUS is?

Reagan would do that, but sorry, this guy would rather get on his knees and kiss their ass, as he apologizes for the way we made the Chinese build stone walls out West and work as slaves on laying down the tracks for the RailRoad.

The source of the blog you posted is NorCal Blogs not ChicoER.

Are you and OneVike one in the same?

OV’s stuff is not banned here.

Don’t pay any mind to A.A. Cunningham.

He is still hurting over the fact that one of his henchmen was Zotted by Jim himself one day for teaming up against OV and attacking him publicly.

Pay him no mind and he will go away like a fly.

I noticed your new. Welcome to FeeRepublic FRiend.

As you just learned, some conservatives are as bad as the liberals when it comes to thinking they are God.

If they ain’t making someone else’s day miserable then they just ain’t happy.

I took the name of the News Paper that carried the blog.

The Enterprise Record. The same as I do for the NY Times, or any other newspaper. Is that wrong? You never answered my question, are you a moderator?

Oh, by the way. I am not onevike. Why do you have a problem with him. Is Tom Hawks right about you and him?

So are the thousands and thousands of freepers who think it was a missile just as loony?

The dubious sanity of some Freepers would make a worthy discussion topic, but that has nothing to do with whether or not the video showed a missile launch.

Los Angeles-area airspace is very heavily monitored by radar stations. Overlapping radar records from those stations did not reveal a missile launch. That means either that this was a new ultra-stealthy type of missile, or that there was a conspiracy among Los Angeles-area radar operators to conceal the launch, or that the contrail was produced by something other than a missile. The third explanation is by far the most likely.

Ahhh, yet another interesting idea for the missile theorists to tag onto.

Given that these boats are in service with allied or friendly navies,it would be likely the USN has had ample opportunity to study the systems and develop countermeasures.

There was no conspiracy between Los Angeles-area radar operators to conceal a missile launch.

Of course not, they immediately identified the aircraft that was in that airspace at that precise time as it is controlled airspace and all aircraft are tracked. I even think they may have stated who the pilots were and the passenger list. By now we all know the origin, flightpath and destination of that airplane.

the contrail was produced by something other than a missile. The third explanation is by far the most likely.

One of the major 'nets had it a couple of days ago that the contrail was actually that of a jet passing overhead and pointed out that it was probably an optical illusion that the angle of ascent was so steep so as to be impossible for any jet plane. I thought the explanation sounded suspiciously like the old "the UFO was actually swamp gas" from the old Project Blue Book. But maybe you're right.

Thanks for the welcome.

It seems Mr Cunningham has decided to go away as you implied.

Yours is the first welcome I have received since I started posting here.

It’s nice to be welcomed.

FR’s resident long lived liberal troll, NS, just likes to pretend a lot. Just not the chosen screen name:

Non sequitur (Latin for “it does not follow”), in formal logic, is an argument in which its conclusion does not follow from its premises.[1] In a non sequitur, the conclusion can be either true or false, but the argument is fallacious because there is a disconnection between the premise and the conclusion. All formal fallacies are special cases of non sequitur. The term has special applicability in law, having a formal legal definition. Many types of known non sequitur argument forms have been classified into many different types of logical fallacies.
The term is often used in everyday speech and reasoning to describe a statement in which premise and conclusion are totally unrelated but which is used as if they were. An example might be: “If I buy this cell phone, all people will love me.” However, there is no direct relation between buying a cell phone and the love of all people. This kind of reasoning is often used in advertising to trigger an emotional purchase.

"Did they sell sub propulsion secrets?"

I understood it was secrets AND a CNC milling machine that was required to utilize them.
