What a welcome relief from Kate and Eight.
I am SO excited to see this show. This show is going to surprise a lot of people. The ones who think this is a reality show are going to be very surprised to find out that all of the media BS was just that, BS
Oh, and the reason why leftists don’t want people to see this show is for the reason you just outlined, that this will help her with independents and Reagan Democrats
“I’m betting this will drive many leftists over the edge, while getting many Independents, PUMAs, Conservatives and Reagan Democrats to take a fresh look at Governor Palin. “
I’m also a Palin skeptic who is interested in this show to get a better picture of where she is coming from.
This such a good break for conservatives, we used to get so few beneficial penetrations of the popular culture, this 8 part series on Alaska will probably do very well, and will get some DVD sales, even public libraries will purchase a set like this, especially if we all ask for it.
My family .... and many in my circle of friends (lib and conservatives alike) are waiting for this show.
WE WANT TO SEE ALASKA INSIDE OUR LIVING ROOM.
[My moderate friends are beginning to really like her, after her recent “fight against the Fed”.
Good luck, Mrs. Palin!
The media spin machine is already in overdrive and it began with the odious rove who can go to hell for all I care.
From what I’ve seen and read about this show, it is going to be a political gold mine for Sarah Palin. If she does well in the debates, say hello to the 45th President of the United States. No one is going to beat this with all the MSM and money in the world.
>> trashy housewives and serial dating...
“I know a lot of whores, and your mom is no whore.”
Contrast shouldn’t be associative.
I have some friends who live in Alaska. I am really looking forward to this series.
You win, and pissant and his fellow travelers, will be right there with them.
I can see being for or against a candidate, but the hatred against Sarah is so visceral that it's way past an abnormal fixation it's become a true phobia.
Sarahphobia, scared spitless of the Momma Griz.
“I’d rather be here where I’m free rather than in some stuffy political office” Sarah Palin
We have a couple of “conservatives” on this forum who are as delusional as Liberals; they are waiting for the perfect candidate for President. Ain’t no such thing.
I marvel at those who cry for a real conservative as candidate for President and then start sniping at the first one who comes along.
Lots of info here: Sarah Palin's Alaska on TLC

Competing in the same time slot (9-10 pm ET, Sundays) is the excellent six-part series "The Right, All Along: The Rise, Fall & Future of Conservatism" hosted by Brit Hume. It runs on the Fox News Channel for six Sundays. I'm not sure if this special airs any other time except at 9-10 pm ET on Sundays.
Last Sunday (11/7/10) was Part 1 of this series. Tonight's episode is entitled "Reel 2: A Time for Choosing". More info at the website below:
I can't wait. She's going to convert a lot of apolitical people with this series.
Anybody know what channel i it’s on on DIRECT TV?
