The Church will be much more traditional after the boomers pass. The Church will still be here, but their innovations will not.

She’s too old to be a boomer. Born before 1946.

You think so? Supported by who - Gens X, Y and Z? There ain't that many of them and they don't even have jobs, let alone religion.
Catholic churches are closing so fast it's like a Rapture for buildings. Maybe all the illegal aliens who have sucked this country dry, and who the Church says we HAVE to take care of, will do it. Not.

but their innovations will not...

...unfortunately, I would not be so sanguine about that...those that have grown up in NovusOrdoLand will not take kindly to having their precious innovations taken away...suggest having a tiny smattering of Latin in the liturgy from time to time and watch the parishionate blanch in fear, Draculas railing at the sunlight...or suggest that it might be nice if the music were not so, well, schlocky, and feel the daggers being glared at you...and at all costs, be careful about comments regarding EMHC’s, the gold standard of their presence in the NO church...belive me, they will not tolerate continued rebellion, without complaining to someone about you...
