We are not a publicly owned entity nor are we an IRS tax-free non-profit organization. We pay all applicable taxes on our income. We are not connected to or funded by any political party, news agency, or any other entity. We sell no merchandise, product or service, and we offer no subscriptions or paid memberships. We accept no paid advertising or promotions. We are funded solely by donations (non tax deductible gifts) from our readers and participants.
We aggressively defend our God-given and first amendment guaranteed rights to free speech, free press, free religion, and FREEDOM of ASSOCIATION, as well as our constitutional right to control the use and content of our own personal private property. Despite the wailing of the liberal trolls and other doom & gloom naysayers, we feel no compelling need to allow them a platform to promote their repugnant and obnoxious propaganda from our forum. Free Republic is NOT a liberal debating society. We are conservative activists dedicated to defending our GOD-GIVEN rights, defending our constitution, defending our republic and defending our traditional American way of Life.

Palin 2012.....
Not only is Palin the only potential candidate to hold ALL of these beliefs, you know that they are more than campaign slogans with her. They are deeply ingrained tenets that go to the core of her being; they are who she is and AlWAYS had been. They have not been recently acquired for political gain. IMHO she is everything that is needed to save this country and is probably the answer to trillions of prayers. Now I pray that there are enough who recognize her as such and she is given the chance to bring God and greatness back to our land. Please pray with me.

I must say, Jim, you have a style that reminds me alot of Sarah. Plain, hard truth and no dissembling allowed. If we (those of us who seek it) succeed in seeing this great lady elected president in 2012, we're going to watch the rapid re-birth of the greatest nation in the history of mankind.

Over all these years, being a freeper, commenting very little, and giving whenever I can, its just wonderful to read what Jim wrote and continue to believe in the greatness of our country.

I think the lack of ‘Political Correctness’ is obvious here (and thankfully so). It is amazing how many people claim to ‘celebrate diversity’ by condemning independence. These same folks often inspire us to be ‘tolerant’ but not truly of each other or differing opinions, just their established list of ‘favorite tolerables.’ FR is a wonderful place to experience discourse, news, and even humor edged by ‘original thought’ which, true to Orwellian prediction is becoming less and less a prized commodity. To be in the company of so many climate-change deniers, as just one example, is WONDERFUL
