Pistole said the agency is "trying to be sensitive to individuals issues and concerns," but added, "the bottom line is, everybody who gets on that flight has been properly screened."

So, here we are in Bizzaro Land.

Catholic nuns will be groped.

But Muslims (who last I checked were responsible for 100% of our air terrorist murders) will be exempted out of "sensitivity" concerns!

DHS Chief Napolitano About to Cave to CAIR’s Demand Hijab-Clad Women Be Exempt From Full Body Pat Downs?…

(CNSNews.com) - When asked today if she will insist that Muslim women wearing hijabs must go through full body pat downs before boarding planes, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano did not say yes or no, but told CNSNews.com there will be “adjustments” and “more to come” on the issue. “On the pat downs, CAIR [the Council on American-Islamic Relations] has recommended that Muslim women wearing hijabs refuse to go through the full body pat downs before boarding planes,” CNSNews.com asked Napolitano at a Monday press conference. “Will you insist that they do go through full body pat downs before boarding planes?” “Look, we have, like I said before, we are doing what we need to do to protect the traveling public and adjustments will be made where they need to be made,” Napolitano responded. “With respect to that particular issue, I think there will be more to come."

Beam me up!

Ignorant people thinks this will keep them safe. Terrorists will simply put the explosives into items that go into cargo unchecked, as the printer cartridges were in Britain, and blow up the plane that way. And all the sheep will have been ogled and prodded by cretans for nothing.

All these people at hte top KNOW that it is going to hurt the airlines. They know it because it is one of the goals. They want regular peoples’ ability to travel easily to start going away. They want to then expand this kind of crap to long-haul bus terminals, and train stations. They want to start making it increasingly difficult to do internal country travel. If it damages the economy it’s an added benefit - because damaging our economy is already a goal in itself.

Exempt from screening.

Can't "profile"......donchaknow. Have to be "senstive."

Desensitizing citizens to being treated by authorities like criminals is the main goal. Other goals is negatively impacting the economy and making internal travel more difficult.

We need these screening devices and screeners at all entrances to gov’t buildings...congress, White House, etc. Then let’s see who screems. Oh, and Air Force One. Can’t be too safe, ya know.

Oh, but trust me, there's extremely careful screening already at these places... for the people. For the enlightened more equal government workers, you simply wave your badge at a private entrance and skip all that security. Meanwhile, mothers are told to dump the bottles their babies would drink, just in case they're sneaking explosives in.

The TSA is a redundant and useless waste of money. I doubt the TSA can point to a single event at any of their screening points where they stopped a terrorist action. Just as the 'no fly' list is a useless pile of dung. Both depend upon a terrorist being a complete and utter idiot and not only giving their real name, but also requiring them to put weapons where soon to be unionized federal security guards can find them.

None of these activities by the TSA makes flying any safer, none of these actions would prevent a second 9/11 style attack, and it wastes billions of dollars in lost productivity as each and every person who is going to take a flight must submit to illegal searches and seizures by a federal employee, who has placed themselves between the consumer and the airline the consumer wants to fly.

And this creation of the federal government will never shut down, it will continue to grow, expanding into train stations, light rail, and likely even bus stations, all in the name of protecting us against terrorists.

CLOSE THE TSA DOWN. Indemnify airlines from racial profiling lawsuits, and let them handle their own security. Keep federal laws OUT of the mix, and the airlines can actually do things to stop future terrorist actions. I'm sure quite a number of folks on this board would fly an airline that permits open carry.

.....Just tell them you are [muslim] and that your “religion” prohibits this type of treatment.....

Actually, the Christian faith is not too keen on it, either. But the commuNazis of the obama Administration and their brownshirt TSA minions don’t care.

When we get rid of the commuNazis, we should mandate the Israeli system of profiling for all flights. It provides MUCH greater security, without violating our civil liberties. But the muzzies and their traitor lawyers won’t like it!

"Desensitizing citizens to being treated by authorities like criminals is the main goal. Other goals is negatively impacting the economy and making internal travel more difficult."

This is exactly the case, since we have a bent toward Marxism in our current, soon to be nationalized, federal administration. I wish your statement could be repeated a hundred more times throughout this thread without one of us getting thrown off for it by moderators.

End the TSA - it’s an un-amaerican disgrace.

I want a bounty system, if I had my choice, on every illegal alien in the country. A $1,000 bounty for every illegal, and a fine of $50K for false arrest.

That would put the Muzzies on notice right away as most of the terrorists aren't here legally anyway.

Turn up the screws from there.

I do agree. We should be profiling. It works.

But I won’t call you stupid if you disagree with me on something else.

You’ve just shown yourself to thousands here in your own words why you don’t get it.

This is not Iraq, TSA is not military trying to stabilize a country full of terrorists actually armed and shooting at them. You equate us citizen air passengers to foreigners we have no idea if they are hostile or not as we can’t speak their language, etc.

Just like the prior guy who didn’t get it because he works in a prison and says it’s no big deal. We aren’t prisoners either and are offended at being treated that way.

If you get pulled for special screening you have no way to say no to it, you can’t say “I will go through standard screening”, you either have to get beamed and a naked image of you generated (which we now know there have been thousands of said images stored by TSA), or sexually assaulted. Or you have to get your ticket refunded, you can’t just go back to standard screening. If there was a problem in standard screening you’d get looked at more closely anyway, that’s already procedure.

If they gave people that option I wouldn’t have a problem with it, because folks like you won’t mind getting xrayed or felt up because after all, being groped makes you safer.

“Why the hell would anyone who loves freedom get on a commercial flight?”

My husband is a career pilot, that’s why. TSA has been decent to pilots generally in the past. Now pilots and flight attendants get to look forward to being ogled or groped regularly. I sent Southwest an email telling them that I’m returning a ticket for a refund and since TSA isn’t listening to the people, perhaps they’ll take action in D.C. if they lose enough revenue.

To give even an inch on this TSA debacle is worthy of a little scolding. I will gladly do it whenever necessary.

And the TSA, along with the entire democrat party, will answer to us again in 2012.

Yep, BOHICA....and you WILL say "thank you sir, may I have another"

Except for the poster here that doesn't mind that his wife gets groped.
