But the government purchased 1 BILLION dollars worth of these scanners and the CEO accompanied Barry on the Asian debacle, plus Soros had an interest in the scanner company, so how could we possibly use a cheaper and more efficient, plus safer sysyrm for our security?
Just askin’.

The main difference being that Israel's primary mission is to enact a security system, while we want to appear to be addressing security while not offending any possible interest group, ethnic identity, or liberal pundit.

Obama's administration would rather Fear Racism because it feels we can withstand an attack. It won't be HIS daughters blown to bits.

#2 is what’s called a chokepoint for an ambush .

You'd be surprised. I think of myself as pretty well educated and well read. It's sort of a treat to go through the Tel Aviv airport and observe them observing me, and others too. I'm not sure I could do their job, just like I know I couldn't coach the Giants.

We (America) needs to implement racial profiling.

If you read the article, it isn't racial profiling the Israelis practice. Get hung up on looking for Muslims and/or Arabs and you're going to miss the white woman carrying the bomb (and the bad guys are actively interested in recruiting whites for just that reason).

The Israelis profile behavior. And it's been pretty successful for them.

Yeah, seems innocent enough... Soros buys the candidates, then they get into office and decide to buy Soros machines to radiate the innocent travelers. If you don’t go into the Soros machine, we will either have to rape you or charge you $11,000 for refusing to continue through our process.

So basically we all have both Obama’s skinny hand and Soros’s old warty one both on our junk.

I thought Heathrow 1991 had much better security than Logan 2005. And the Brits, God love ‘em, did it with good humor and cheerfulness completely lacking in the dolts over at TSA.

We flew El-Al sevral years ago and were quizzed pretty thoroughly. For one thing, we did not fit the profile of the main group — elderly Methodists — being much younger.

And DH does look like a criminal master mind :-)

They were efficient and thorough and quick. Nobody got patted down.

Your reply hit the nail on the head. The US of A also needs to get rid of the ACLU, CAIR, and several other militant groups. I also wish the topic below would come up for a vote.

While I wholeheartedly advocate the Israeli security method, I wonder if it could be implemented with the crush of travelers at an airport such as O’Hare, Hartsfield, Kennedy.

Well, in all fairness, it’s not just Bambi and his Chicago goons: it infects the entire system. We’ve somehow allowed the entire country to be taken over by a bunch of idiot pantywaists, who know only two settings: appease, and panic.

Not that I know what to do about it, besides take people to the range, get them into sparring class, and try to convince them not to vote for Liberals. It’s an uphill battle, though.

I don’t plan to fly another time in my life, but I know there are millions who have to fly because of their occupation. Why can’t the TSA give people the opportunity to go through a security clearance, be fingerprinted and have on hand at every airport a fingerprint scanner for those who have been cleared. If the system kicks out a fingerprint, then maybe a search would be warranted. There is no reason people who have to fly all the time should have to go through all this c—p every time they get on a plane.

“That is, how can we make our airports more like Israel’s, which deal with far greater terror threat with far less inconvenience. “

Isreal’s system tries to stop TERRORISTS.

Our system, in the word of Nepalitano, is to stop ‘unauthorized’ gels, powders and other products - even in the hands of innocents american citizens - from being on planes.

This is liberalism run amok. According to liberals, People dont cause terrorism, inanimate objects cause it, so we ban all manner of objects. It’s as stupid as gun control.

Meanwhile, we fail to profile for the terrorists, so grannies are felt up and harrassed while terrorists are ignored.

We need to allow all of these inanimate items. Stop the bans.
Check for security of people.
Anyone should be able to get an “EZ pass” if they are a lawabiding citizen in good standing without a record.
Pilots, frequent flyers would get them and use them. everyone wins.
If no “EZ pass” then you get the pat-down.
and for good measure allow concealed carry on planes (!).

I like the idea of ‘bomb boxes’ that would be big enough to put the suspect in while the bomb squad determines if it is a bomb with the probing and possible detonation.

Might make even more of a deterrent

“Why can’t the TSA give people the opportunity to go through a security clearance, be fingerprinted and have on hand at every airport a fingerprint scanner for those who have been cleared. “

Because they are liberals, and are allergic to common sense and efficiency.

Why, imagine the govt union jobs that would be lost by such a marvelous idea?

If they were serious:

Ya think?

(Yes, you do think. So do I. That makes us different from the TSAholes.)
