TSA pats down a screaming toddler

You might think a 3-year-old would whiz through security. A child is non-threatening, wears slip-on shoes, and carries little luggage.

Not the case for Mandy Simon who was passing through security with her dad at the airport in Chattanooga, Tenn.

I do not advocate violence or retribution, but these people need to know that others know who they are.

“TSA pats down a screaming toddler”

####

And we can declare the Islamic jihad scum the winner.

They have now totally disrupted our peaceful and highly efficient mode of air travel.

How much exactly are they paying these people? It would have to be A LOT to make me feel up all those people all day. A LOT a lot.

obama has exempted muslim women from scanning and full body pat downs. So what is to stop a muslim terrorist woman or man dressed like a woman from bringing explosives on a plane now, Ray?

If they (Obama, Government, et. al.) push it to the point of the old Soviet East Bloc, violence will inevitable. And unlike the East German Stazi, they will not be forgiven.

These people are being set up as Obama’s Civilian ‘Defense Force’ he mistakenly harbinged during his campaign. They won’t stop with airports. They’ll soon infest every mode of transportation and will eventually patrol our streets and neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, etc. They are an abject cancer and need to be stopped now.

Who would then be forced to carry explosives on board?

Interesting logic, what happens after it's discovered someone succeeded in getting a device smuggled through that was hidden in a body cavity?

Will you condone the necessary searches?

Forcing someone to carry explosive on to an airliner is not going to happen, child or not.

“...dumb on this screening stuff..” “forced to carry explosives...” aboard airplanes. Hmmmm.

Are you intimating that white-haired grannies with canes or walkers or the children of obviously non-Middle Eastern parents would pose a security threat? Then I submit that you are part of the problem. Acceptance of this breech of the 4th amendment (unlawful search) will only lead to more egregious breeches.

It’s time to engage some brain-power and solve this problem outside the PC bureaucratic box. Targeted profiling and professional screeners could solve the aviation security problems with much less pain to travelers and the airline industry. (El Al’s approach to security as a template)

Right now, the TSA fails to find/identify 90% of the hidden security test objects sent through their screening to check their effectiveness, and you’re worried about Swedish children being forced to carry explosives. Sigh!

Special recommendations for Muslim women who wear hijab:

* If you are selected for secondary screening after you go through the metal detector and it does not go off, and “sss” is not written on your boarding pass, ask the TSA officer if the reason you are being selected is because of your head scarf.
* In this situation, you may be asked to submit to a pat-down or to go through a full body scanner. If you are selected for the scanner, you may ask to go through a pat-down instead.
* Before you are patted down, you should remind the TSA officer that they are only supposed to pat down the area in question, in this scenario, your head and neck. They SHOULD NOT subject you to a full-body or partial-body pat-down.
* You may ask to be taken to a private room for the pat-down procedure.
* Instead of the pat-down, you can always request to pat down your own scarf, including head and neck area, and have the officers perform a chemical swipe of your hands.
* If you encounter any issues, ask to speak to a supervisor immediately. They are there to assist you.

Thankfully, not yet. Not in this Country at least.

My point was that if someone is forced to carry some kind of explosive device in an attempt to board a plane, that's not going to happen.

Inside a crowded airport before the gate area is entered, scary thought.

A neighbor of mine was injured by a mortar in Iraq a few years back and still has a fair amount of shrapnel in his body. Even though he has a card from the VA stating how much metal he has in his body (supposedly they can adjust their machines to ignore that amount) he still has to go through a pat down and be wanded every time he flies.

Outlaw islam and deport all muzzzies.

islam is not a religion, it's a political doctrine and wholly incompatible with freedom and Western Culture.

The hijackers boarded planes in out of the way places where security was lax and transferred to other airports. They are still doing this by way of boarding in other countries. They attacked the weakest link.

If you establish that certain classes of people will be held to a lesser screening requirement you create a weaker link in the chain which could be exploited. It is common sense. On the other hand, if you want to argue that everyone who is a Muslim should receive extra screening and scrutiny then I'm all for it.
