It was a passenger plane headed on a 10 g 45 degree steep ascent to the NE. Must have been highjacked or something.

This is exactly the point I was going to make. Any "scientist" who says airplane contrails contribute to global warming is not exactly an authority in my book.

I like your term "Missileers." It is a truly sad situation. The height of hilarity / depth of their sadness was when one of them actually floated the idea that in posting information grounded in reality I was really an agent spreading disinformation. The Missileers were getting too close to the truth, don't ya see? LOL.
I've already lost count of how many of the conspiracy kooks' chi-com missile contrails I've seen up and down the eastern seaboard over the past few days. It's horrifying. Where are all these missiles landing?
Question to ask yourself. If this aircraft made a contrail, where are the contrails from the other aircraft peppering the SoCal sky?
I have spent my life around aviation and particularly around missiles being fired from the surface. That was a solid rocket fuel, surface fired missile.
