She's obviously worked hard and gracefully blossomed in beauty and charm. Plus she probably has made a substantial amount of money - far more than she might have made in a decade as a receptionist for a medical office.
Disclaimer - I didn't vote for any contestant on DWTS.
“...the three best dancers aren’t in the finale and I’m bummed about that.”
Pop culture at it’s best. Journalists wasting time being “bummed” about the contestants on a TV show that is of no importance whatsoever.
He could have spent that time doing something useful—like dusting his Sascha collection or alphabetizing his Liza records.
Monday night will be a ratings bonanza for DWTS. It was difficult voting this past week so no telling what the coming week will bring. Will they have extra lines like on AI?
I feel the same way about the UFO threads.
The Palins are America. Obama is not.
Brandy and Bristol are darling, admirable young women, both from Christian homes (Brandy’s dad is a minister and Brandy grew up singing in church choirs and such and she’s a gracious young women. I love what Bristol has accomplished but I’ve been secretly rooting for Brandy who really was working hard to improve each week-as all 12 contestants did. Jennifer, after all is Joel Gray’s daughter-she came from a show-biz family and starred in “Dirty Dancing” She has improved also but there can be only 1 winner and the judges and the program execs. set up the rules for winning. They are all winners and all will benefit from all this exposure.
Seriously? Those little green men can cut a rug!! No shame there at all from what I can see.
I agree I voted for her for a few weeks but now I think it is embarrassing and will be more embarrassing to Bristol who is thinking she deserves it and it turns out to be a prank. I think it is wrong, this is an entertainment show. I don’t think they deserve it either.
LOL.
Oh, boo hoo. I watched the East Coast Twitter feed as it happened, and you would have thought we were being invaded and pillaged.
These jackwagons screamed “racism” even when the young black man made it to the finals. Look, Bristol started knowing zip about ballroom dancing - musical performers already have a big leg up, being in practice regarding movement and memorizing new routines frequently. As a former ballroom teacher, I can tell these nitwits that it’s HARD to start from zero and move up to performing a routine.
And hey, we’ve seen this before. You have a talented performer, and somewhere along the way, their fan base gets complacent. You get to the final four, and who knows what will happen. Bristol had more people calling... oh well... it’s not racist, though, sheesh.
aww please with the gnashing of teeth.
The best dancers on the show are the hollywood semi pros.
Bristol is a true amateur who is being singled out only because of her mother is hated by the elites.
Bristol is working her ass off and has improved as much as anybody. She isn’t being given anything, she is working for it. Everybody plays by the same set of rules.
Bristol making it this far, is a good sign.
Go Sarah in ‘12!
P.S. - In Season One, that female soap star from General Hospital beat out a much better male dancer for that mirror ball trophy because ... she got more popular votes. I mean, she really wasn’t that good. But she won, and the earth kept turning. That’s show biz.
SNARKY. Head explosion warning.
I wish we could have swapped: Let the best dancer win DWTS, and let the best American leader win the 2008 Presidential Election. Instead of sensible decisions on both popularity contests, we have two people with absolutely no experience rising astonishingly far above where their own merits alone would have taken them. Bristol is a MUCH better dancer than Obama is a leader, and we knew what we were getting with both of them.
What will happen with DWTS? My guess is that Bristol will go soon. There aren’t enough people making a political statement to continue outvoting the die-hard fans who are just looking at the dancing. Do I care? Nope. I don’t watch much network TV and haven’t yet seen Bristol dance. I might watch, if I notice the time when she’s on next, but I’ll probably be busy with my kids, totally unaware of what would be on the TV if it was on.
If FR has too much freedom for you, maybe you should wander off. Maybe the government should control what we talk about here , huh? I bet you would love to work for the FCC
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! I love it when liberal heads explode!! They’re oh, so petulant when things don’t go their way!!
