What cracks me up about all this is that everytime they’ve had a “political type” on the past few years it’s always been a Republican. Could it be because they know they get better ratings spotlighting a Republican rather then a hard cord lib? I just know that the blood was spurting from the eyes of those idiots over at DU last night. I’ve voted for Bristol every week as many times as I can just to stick to the Libs. I had a “friend” email me that she couldn’t believe I would vote for her since she’s not the best. I emailed back that I couldn’t believe she voted for zer0 even though he wasn’t the best. “So please quit trashing my meaningless vote on DWTS and I won’t trash you for your vote that very well might bring about the downfall of this great country!” She didn’t respond!
Meaning?
It is just a show. Reveals how easily libs unravel. The way it is set up, it also counts popularity, and many viewers can related to Bristol.
I think you are correct. Brandy was fantastic, but Max was a glory hog.
It will be interesting to see how the second season of her VH1 Show - Brandy and Ray J. : A Family Business - turns out now.
LOL I had a feeling that would happen.
Can’t you see what happening?
This is a set-up. They are going to let Bristol Palin win the whole thing.
Then there will be another feeding frenzy by the MSM ridiculing the Palin brand.
Bristol has had to endure her own media hell. I’ll be the last one to say “she isn’t worthy.” If she is a role model, I wish her the best and that she is able to turn it to good use.
;o]
The few clips I’ve seen over the weeks, she has improved. God bless her!
thanks for pointing out the non seq.
I started watching DWTS because of Bristol Palin. I was glad that she accepted the invitation to compete in the show. She is not a professional entertainer like Jennifer, Brandy & Kyle or the others who were eliminated.
She’s worked very hard and has improved consistently.
I think that she’s survived despite the judges’ lower scores because many viewers like her.
It’s my understanding that viewers are asked to vote for those they would like to stay in the competition....NOT those they think are the best dancers.
It’s apparent that millions of Americans want to see Bristol & Mark continue to compete!
Yes, and my understanding is that the votes from the public make up 50% of the total score. So even if Bristol was not “considered” the “best dancer” by the judges or whomever, she did get the votes that counted to stay.
Those who complain that it was not fair for Bristol getting to stay perhaps now understand how many felt when Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize over someone many considered far more deserving!

Sorry about the double post. Happened twice on me tonight. Sorry.
I haven’t actually watched this show, but isn’t the voting to pick who viewers want to see again the most? Sounds like viewers have spoken and even if someone else danced better, Bristol is who folks would like to watch dance again.

Hubby and I just may tune into DWTS next week (Monday and Tuesday, right?) to check out what's going on, and to be sure to VOTE for Bristol!
Not enough "liberal heads have exploded" yet... we gotta keep working on that... ;-)
Please do watch and vote on Monday night.
Jennifer, Kyle & Bristol will compete to be in the final. On Tuesday night, we’ll learn the 2 finalists for the following week.
You are allowed 5 calls to vote for Bristol & Mark:
1-800-868-3407
and 5 votes on http://www.abc.com
(you will be asked to register when you try to vote)
Live by the internet. Die by the internet.
I don’t have a clue what you are talking about. All I know is someone posted a thread about Bristol Palin being voted to stay on a dancing show because people like her - or like her mother anyway. I never thought it was good when people were doing that on American Idol. Bristol is pathetic as a dancer.
And, frankly, like so many others, she is NOT a star, so where on earth they get the idea of who goes on the show or not is beyond my comprehension. Star, indeed?
> “ Bristol is pathetic as a dancer.”
.
No, she isn’t! - Her dancing is classic in style, and in that respect, she is one of the better contestants on the show, although not the best.
I agree that DWTS’ definition of ‘star’ is quite broad, being just “public personality” in reality. Congressmen, football players, whatever they can grab an audience with.
Most of the “dancing” on the show makes me want to puke. Its really just crude gymnastics.
I’ll agree with you on the gymnastics as well, but Bristol is very stiff and does not flow when she dances. She look uncomfortable.
I won’t say more because I don’t give a hoot about Bristol, the show, or any of this. It’s all trivial. I care about what is happening to our country.
