Sen. Rockefeller: FCC Should Take FOX News, MSNBC Off Airwaves
Breitbart tv ^ | 11/18/10 | Staff

There's a little bug inside of me which wants to get the FCC to say to FOX and to MSNBC: "Out. Off. End. Goodbye." It would be a big favor to political discourse; our ability to do our work here in Congress, and to the American people, to be able to talk with each other and have some faith in their government and more importantly, in their future.

But this does not apply to cable, which is accepted by the consumer by choice.

Cable TV is going the way of the VCR. FOX is doing great, but MSNBC is a losing proposition.

Rockefeller would lose his investments if it folded. ( So would many other politicians, of his ilk. They might even have investments in FOX. Money is money, ya know.)

HOWEVER, if the FCC FORCES MSNBC to stop it's broadcast, the investors (who in this case are the one's who make the law to begin with) are protected financially. Rockefeller wants to sacrifice his 'lamb', because it was spoiled and he couldn't sell it anyway. This way, YOU will be forced to give him fair market price , but you don't get the lamb, and he takes one of your lambs.

Sen. RockaNut sees MSNBC has very few viewers... so what’s the loss? If FOX it neutered, it would worth it to lose a small fry like MSNBC, and he can sound “fair” calling for the end of both. Small loss you still “own” the networks, NY Slimes, Wash Compost.

It is a basic requirement of totalitarians to have absolute control of all media! To hyper-libs 99% media compliance is just not enough! A mere one part per hundred opposition sends them into rage and strikes terror into their cold corrupt collective dark hearts! Though but a trickle, the 1% torments them unmercifully! Lovers of darkness, haters of light!

When he runs for re-election I’m sure he’ll just film an ad where he stands out in a field wearing Hunters Orange and blasts a photo of Keith Olbermann with a 30 ought 6. That’ll get him re-elected.

Democrats oppose the “Bill of Rights”
because it doesn’t say -
“The Bill of Lefts”.

If there was a bill of “Leftist Rights” then they would support it but the fact that is says “Rights” bothers them probably equally as much as the contents of “Bill of Rights” does not specifically lay out leftist agendas.

The use of words becomes convoluted in the minds of those on the left. Most of us on the right see humor in obscure meanings of words but I really don’t think that the hard liners on the left see humor in anything except the demise of those on the Right.

Convoluted thinking? Darned Right! - - and that is where the problem lies.

Silly - well yes! This comment was just about as goofy and illogical as I could possibly make it but somehow I feel it wasn’t crazy enough to adequately explain (?) how they think.

"Out. Off. End. Goodbye."

That's how I feel about the Senator's re-election ambitions.

[ Airwaves? MSNBS and FOX News are cable channels. This spoiled brat should be censured for being against freedom of the press.
That being said, the government should have zero authority to regulate any content that is on any privately owned television. ]

Roger Ailes shoud hold a press conference and say he is taking Fox News off the Air Waves due to Rockefeller’s request, and them ention tot he idoit it is a cable/satelite only channel and laught at the Rockefeller puke.

This one statement by a senator should have been enough to cause the people to rise up. But, noooooo. Why, because almost half of the idiots in this country agree with the senator.

Per Jay the Commie: “We really, really want to get FOX off the air. We’re even willing to throw MSNBC under the bus to accomplish it.”

Yes liberals only want to talk nicely about receiving future payments from their friends.

to get the FCC to say to FOX and to MSNBC: "Out. Off. End. Goodbye."

or one way to increase freedom would be to get rid of the FCC.
