Fox News Chief (Roger Ailes) Blasts NPR 'Nazis'
The Daily Beast ^ | 11/18/10 | Howard Kurtz

Posted on 11/18/2010 7:50:24 AM PST by chickadee

The onetime Republican strategist is a man of strong opinions, in case that wasn’t clear, and he also puts his money where his mouth is. When Juan Williams was fired by National Public Radio for remarks he made on Fox about fearing airplane passengers in Muslim garb, Ailes rushed to award him a three-year, $2 million contract.

“A guy who gets fired and humiliated in the press can lose a lot of confidence,” Ailes says. Calling Williams “a pure liberal,” Ailes says he wanted to compensate the pundit for his losses because he was “mad” and “I didn’t want him to have to call his wife and say we lost money.”

Then he turned his sights on NPR executives.

“They are, of course, Nazis. They have a kind of Nazi attitude. They are the left wing of Nazism. These guys don’t want any other point of view. They don’t even feel guilty using tax dollars to spout their propaganda. They are basically Air America with government funding to keep them alive.”

He is a breath of fresh air indeed, although the Nazi” thing is a little overdone. Appropriate, but it’s like calling someone a “racist”. It’s over.

"such conservatives as Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Karl Rove and a slew of potential GOP presidential candidates. "

Quite a few errors in that statement.

“They are the left wing of Nazism.”

Gee Roger, don’t help the Left with their historical propaganda.

The Nazi’s were, by definition and in practice, fully LEFTIST totalitarians, there was nothing “Right Wing” about them.

Roger was no doubt speaking to counteract the liberal propaganda that Nazis are right wingers. Most of the “history” that the left thinks it knows is alternative history.

Thanks for reminding me I had forgotten to lob my latest salvo at NPR for a disgusting little automated response they sent re: my last broadside. Here’s what I just sent:

Dear Erin: thank you for your reply. Okay, let me see if I have it straight now. At NPR, if you are a liberal white woman, you can wish death on a black Supreme Court Justice, and you can also wish AIDS on a white conservative man AND His Grandchildren, and that is hunky dory.

BUT, if you are a black man and express a thoughtful concern based on the past actions of a certain group of people, the racist ideology-NAZIs at NPR will fire you immediately and (in cowardly fashion) over the phone.

I can only continue to do what I’m doing: agitate for all tax-payer $ to cease flowing to NPR. This is NOT a justifiable use of even one dollar of taxpayer money. Not even one flat dime. Fortunately, I’m not alone. Don’t think for a minute we will forget. You committed a craven and racist act, and those of us who care about justice and decency will not forget it until your budget pays the price.

Roger Ailes is the best. He tells it like it is. I wouldn’t want to cross the guy and get on his bad side. But he seems like he would be a great boss to work if you were honest and kept his trust.

PS: I keep pounding the racist drum because that is something NPR actually cares about and prides itself on. Can you imagine their horror when they are accused over and over of being racist? Well, NPR, you reap what you sow. Let’s hope that includes defunding of all taxpayer $ - and soon.

This is a daring thing for him to say. Let's see how this shakes out.

All the top idiots at NPR are Jews, and women. The woman who made a joke about Williams being mentally ill is Jewish. The CEO is Jewish. Think about the dreadful, awful Joy-Behar look-alike Nina Totenberg. And even Mara Liasson, of the horrifying wrong eye-job plastic-surgery-gone wrong, is Jewish.

Very un-PC to call these yentas Nazis.

My favorite is Jim Robinson. Try this on for size:

"Romney is an unrepentant abortionist/statist lying political whore! Just to be absolutely clear, there will never ever be a RINO Romney campaign on FR!! If he somehow becomes the nominee, FR will be running a full-time campaign to DEFEAT him!! If you wish to support him then I suggest you sign off FR and onto Wankers for Mitt!!"

Kurtz from the link:

“Ailes notes that Hannity has plenty of Democrats on in his Great American Panel segment. Actually, one out of three guests is usually of the Democratic persuasion. Nice try. “

I’m sure Howie has done a similar evaluation of the panels on Meet the Press, Washington Week in Review, This Week with Whoever’s-the-Current-Liberal-Shill, Face the Nation, and the like. Somehow I don’t remember any snotty asides from Kurtz on the liberal-to-conservative ratio in those cases.

Wow! The man moved a bit higher in my book, both for acknowledging that Juan Williams is a liberal and for calling out NPR as nothing but Nazi propaganda.

I know too many people that believe because NPR reads the news in a monotone voice that it is therefore without a political agenda. Nothing could be further from the truth. They are liberals through and through.

“They are, of course, Nazis. They have a kind of Nazi attitude. They are the left wing of Nazism.”

Well, since Nazism WAS left wing, being the left wing of the Nazi Party is really really left wing. Kind of like the Ed Shultz wing of the Democrat Party.

Them’s fightin’ words

The term Nazi is short for Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei or National Socialist German Workers’ Party. It doesn’t get more leftist then a socialist workers party.

From the original article:

Well, that made it crystal clear to me that Howard Kurtz is an ideaology-addled idiot.

Kurtz' leftist media may have one out of three-hundred guests who are real conservatives -- you know, not David "I voted for 0bama" Brooks types.
