Bristol Palin's head-scratching elevation to the finals of Dancing With the Stars is still triggering outraged cries of indignation and vote-rigging (and a shotgun blasted TV set), with several critics charging that Tea Partiers used fake email addresses to flood the ballot box in favor of the chief grizzly's cub. I remember voting George Hamilton and he stayed on a few weeks because he was entertaining although a poor dancer. People just liked him.

Geeze, they're sure trying to fabricate controversy out of thin air. Most of the so-called talent competitions on television that allow viewers to vote work pretty much the same way. A few years back, the guy who won American Idol was pushed over the finish line when votes were received from his home state amounting to 4 times the population of the entire state. It's the way these shows work. They aren't even registered with the FCC as actual game shows (which require strict adherence to federal regulations to prevent fraud). They're registered as entertainment shows.

Liberal whiners are going to whine. It's what they do, it's who they are. And it's funny as hell.

I have never watched the show, but I am going to watch it now and vote. And guess for whom?
