On Star will just pony up a pile of cash to the right politicos and have their device written into the legislation as permissible.

I was heading north on the interstate when I spotted a car that was on fire in the emergency lane of the south bound lane. I made a 911 call on my mobile and before I got to the the next exit, I saw the rescue vehicle coming down the ramp toward the car.
I suppose that will not be possible now.
As much as I hate people driving & yakking on the phone, I hate government intrusion even worse.
They will just make it a Felony to disable it.
