He was keeping his head low until he had a book to push.

Thanks. Even though I don’t watch TV, it’s nice to know he’s on and the public has a chance to see past the BS they have been fed for years.

Yep, he's making the rounds. But I always find myself enjoying each of his appearances. Like him or not, he is a man of principals and character. A rare quality these days.

Maybe he was busy actually writing the book, when he was ‘keeping his head low’.

Now that it’s available, it wouldn’t make any sense to not ‘push it’. Wouldn’t you do the same?

Bush is speaking soon at 9PM (right now) at the Reagan Library. One can probably go to their site and watch it.

Please, dear G*d, don’t let him say anything else that defends TARP, amnesty, or socialized medicine.

How can you tell if your librarian is a liberal?

The person is a liberal if they put his book in the fiction section.

God Bless Former President Bush. It takes a big pair of cajones to go on shows that ridiculed you, lied about you, and then called it ‘comedy’...wouldn’tya say?

Yes, indeed, particularly if “pushing the book” was part of the contract for the book.

I increasingly think the critics of TARP should not be characterized as fiscally conservative.

It is one of the view government programs in history to:

1. Come to an end
2. Be paid back— quickly too
3. Be paid back with interest

If other government programs even met one of these awesome fiscally conservative criteria, it would be impressive. The fact that it does this while enacting one of the largest government expenditures in history is equally staggering.

I’m looking for a reason to blame Bush for something. Any ideas?
