Thune just lost any support for 2012 from me (VANITY)

Posted on 11/19/2010 2:14:35 PM PST by jakerobins

John Thune voted for S510...the Senate bill enabling the FDA to have wide Regulation Authority over the food supply. Sorry folks but I still say DeMint is the man to watch...and of Course Sarah Palin despite her support for RINO McCain..

I’ve never seen Thune as a contender for anything higher.

And if he voted for this bill, he needs to be retired from office next time around. He isn’t a constitutionalist; he doesn’t get it. Get someone in there who is and does.

I think the jerks in the Senate needs some educating on this issue.

Hopefully the House will hold the line on this evil bill.

I LOVE your way of thinking. This needs to be the national song for the Republicans now. If you vote for something that completely disregards the rule of law as stated in the Constitution, you're out. Consider it a death sentence and a statement of intent to defraud your oath.

I think we are going to have to E-Mail the crap out of DeMint & get him to do it.At this point we someone with a strong record we can study and see through actions they are the real deal. Too much at stake. Palin’s position on IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT is still not clear too chancey plus she backed Law of Seas. otherwise I do support her.
We need DeMint!
Huckabee is a clemency-clown & amnesty-supporter. he’s better on TV. Please tell all your evangelical friends now...DO NOT SUPPORT HUCKSTER!

His only claim to fame as far as I’m concerned was that he defeated Tom Daschle.

Isn’t Thune from a BIG farm state? No doubt some BIG agriBIGness got their clutches on him. Had him by the “junk” so to speak.

Thune needs to grow some BIG ones.

I never considered him at all. He strikes me as being too much like GW. Not that GW didn’t have his strengths, which I certainly appreciate, but much too liberal with tax dollars for my taste.

Actually, I just watched Mike Pence give a speech to the Federalist Society that was absolutely riviting. He might be someone I’ll look at if he decides to throw his hat in the ring.

Between this and the 19 senators who voted to kill the freedom of the internet, I don’t trust any of them. Jim DeMint might be the only one in the entire Senate.

Demint has shown me he walks it like he talks it. Not afraid to call a spade a spade or a commie.

So did Romney! South Dakota needs to call this Guy..or Email him at least. I already did..telling him I was ashamed for having giving him a donation in 2004 to help him defeat Daschle.(The only decent thing he has done)

I like Pence or DeMint with Bachman as V/P.

I agree. DeMint is an Excellent Senator and would be an Awesome Presidential Canidate. (He almost makes up for having Grahmnesty be the other Sen. from my state of South Carolina!)

DeMint is normally pretty good. So far he's adamantly saying he's not going to run, as does Christie. Thune has a couple of other problems I've seen before, too much RINO there.......

I do worry that a bunch of conservatives may jump in giving the nomination to Romney by splitting the vote too much. He's got a lot of money he can burn while others wallow.

Sarah's fine on immigration, not chancy at all. She keeps saying the important thing to do is seal the border, that it's a priority, and somehow people with secret decoder rings are sure she means to let them all come in, vote, steal the treasury, get free health care, free tuition, citizenship, and anything they want. As to LOST, I have no idea why she backed that at one time. Temporary insanity maybe?

Did you know John Bolton backed it for a couple of years as well?

Gaaaaa.
