the Grey Lady thinks he should go through the junk fondle just like everyone else?

This is actually good if one wants to curb TSA abuses.

Think about it; it will put in the heads of people traveling to see Grandma this week that the Government is above them. There will be calls for Congress to be subject to the same stuff they are. The media will ask why "Betty from Des Moines" is strip-searched like a common criminal while Boehner gets whisked around the Nude-O-Scope.

Also gives Boehner an opportunity to weigh in on the side of the People (if he actually has a pair) and go to bat against TSA's excesses.

95%+ of these searches are a waste of time and effort.

Right now, with the public being preyed upon by the TSA brownshirts who want to irradiate and take pornographic pictures of them to get their rocks off (Hey there, got a cutie for you!) -- any and all attention paid to this issue is GOOD.

>> This is pure Alinsky tactics being used and it’s obvious it works.

You don’t give a crap, do you? You’ll dismiss the mass degradation of our society, and pass off any objection as foolish rhetoric prompted by an Alinksy style hit piece?

This incident has no affect on my opinion of Congressman Boehner. So, drop the Alinsky crap.

Why waste any time on Boehner who poses no threat whatsoever?

Neither do you, but you get to go through the Nude-O-Scope so some TSA droid can measure your privates looking for bombs that don't exist.

You've been profiled as a terrorist and will be treated accordingly starting with a digital photography of your naked body for TSA files.

Angry yet?

“Or he and the rest of the political class could have to follow the same rules that they impose upon the peons. “

Considering that his security detail is armed, this would be interesting.

I give a crap enough to look beyond the obvious propaganda and find out why the slimes is doing the dirty work for the zer0 administration.

I don’t like what is going on here but I really don’t like what the administration with the help of the MSM is doing to continually keep people off the target, 0bama. Boehner is not the enemy here. 0bama and his thug administration is the real issue. TSA is under the executive branch, not the legislative.

Oh and don’t tell me to stop pointing out what is really going on. It is Alinsky methods being used and they keep using it because it obviously works.

Come to think of it, its kind of stupid for ANYONE to have to go through security given that there will be plane load of highly trained and heavily armed Secret Service agents onboard the aircraft.

I'm surprised they let the rest of the peons waiting in line on the plane.

Boehner’s the best of them all for flying commercial, so I’m not sure how this is a hit against Boehner.

I understand your concern about propaganda, but that’s not the issue I’m talking about. We citizens are being treated like dogs for both the action and inaction of Congress. Boehner just happened to be that one Congress guy that illustrated the inequity that exists between the elites in government and the citizens that elected them.

Regarding the Slimes, I ignored the editorial aspects of the facts presented.

can harass him and try to make news? What kind of nitwit are you?

WOW! I see it is you who is the nitwit thinking the press will harass him. You really think they want to bring anymore attention to this commie shakedown on American citizens.

You are 'trying to talk common sense' but your are applying that common sense only to the elite. Since when should the employees be given perks that the bosses don't have?

It is kind of stupid to make him go through security given who his is and the fact that he has a friggin security detail.

It's just stupid for 'him'? And we pay for his security?

Article I, Section 6, Clause 1, of the U.S. Constitution
Senators and Representatives Compensation and legal protection states:

They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach
of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their
Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses,
and in going to and returning from the same; and for
any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be
questioned in any other Place.

Stupid New York Times!
To do so would be illegal.

This is no longer a country of equality and equal rights for everyone. It's becoming a caste society.

You are demanding egality, not equality. The Constitution NEVER has guaranteed egality. People and things which are not similarly situated HAVE NEVER had to be treated the same.

I think it goes to the Cabinet after that with the Secretary of State being next in line. I personally am 299,999, 985th on the list. I should be able to bypass security too!

I just caught this excerpt on C-Span, Mike Pence speaking earlier today at a Federalist Society Convention:

People no longer feel like they're being asked; [they] feel like they're being told. Our nation finds itself too often of late in a position of a dog whose duty it is not to ask why, the why is too elevated for his nature, just simply obey. But America is not a dog. and does not require a 'because I said so jurisprudence'.

I'd correct him on that. We ARE no longer being asked; we ARE being told.

It's well past feeling like it.
