Barbara Bush to Palin: Stay in Alaska
CNN ^ | Saturday, November 20, 2010

Posted on 11/20/2010 8:38:20 AM PST by kristinn

Sarah Palin may not have the biggest fan in former first lady Barbara Bush.

"I sat next to her once. Thought she was beautiful," Barbara Bush said. "And she's very happy in Alaska, and I hope she'll stay there."

Bush, along with her husband, former President George H.W. Bush, spoke to CNN's Larry King in an interview set to air Monday.

Yawwn.

Pretty sure Barbara Bush will be asked about this and she will laugh and berate the left wing media for making such a ridiculous statement up.

I’m not one to attribute the views of George H W Bush to George W. Bush or the views of Barbara Bush to either of them. However, I would note, and I’ve said this many times, George W. Bush was not a conservative. He was at best a moderate, and more realistically, a left-leaning moderate. When you try to figure out where exactly Bush and Obama’s policies differ, you run into difficulty. Bush did not have a trillion dollar failed stimulus. Bush did not nationalize the health care system. Bush banned federal subsidies of embryonic stem cell research on new lines of embryos. But except for those three policies, there really isn’t much difference.

Since when did Larry King care about Republican-has-beens? They have been used as a tool to destroy future Republican leaders, in this case Sarah Palin. They should watch their mouth carefully.

Meeeow! Nice little jab there babs, first praise her then stab her in the back. Well I guess that is the RINO ruling class way. And we are all sick of it. All you do with your vile petulant remarks is make us support Sarah even more. If you had all just kept your traps shut and left Sarah alone she would still be governor of Alaska and back into obscurity.

Isn't it interesting that these people have no problem with telling the world their negative opinions of Gov. Palin, yet are completely silent when it comes to a Socialist like Barack Obama?

It’s a great shame that your husband and spawn didn’t stay in Texas where they belong.

"The Ruling Class has spoken."

The Establishment Republicans forced Bush #1 onto the Reagan ticket. Ronald Reagan never wanted him for the VP spot. Ronaldus Magnus acepted Bush #1 in order to keep the party unified. The real (secret) opposition to Constitutional conservatives in party was the Bush #1/Trent Lott/Karl Rove wing of the party. And yes I include Bush #2, though his administration was better than his father's. And with Karl Rove's infantile tantrum's on the FNC and now this Bush #1 video they have finally started to reveal themselves publicly.

You are either a fool to believe 10% of what CNN/MSNBC/AP writes or you are a liberal.

I’m really trying my hardest to think the best of these people now that they’ve gone, but they sure aren’t helping any. What is it with the women in that family?

Too bad for Jeb. There should never be another member of the Bush or Clinton clans in the White House.

Back in 1979, there were those who wanted Ronald Reagan as president, and the "Bushies" who wanted George Bush.

Secretly, in their hearts, they have always disdained Ronald Reagan and all he stood for, but they benefited from him.

Sarah just leaves a bad taste in their mouths, just like the 40th President did.
