That’s right. When will “Submit to this humiliating search or face an $11K fine” become “Step into the gas chamber, or you’ll be shot and left to die slowly?”

Defeatism is more than bad military policy. It is a lack of faith. There is a God in Heaven and he will not be deaf to the heart cry of his children. The God who parted the Red Sea, who threw down the walls of Jericho, who raised Jesus from the quietude of death, can surely pull a nation back from the brink of self-destruction. Evil may rise for a season, but it is the ultimate in unrealistic thinking, because all of reality belongs to God and behaves as God ordered it. Therefore, evil bears in itself the seeds of its own destruction. We need only have faith to keep working through the night until the light dawns, as it surely will.

Who in their right mind would fly out of SF with all the homosexuals working for the TSA there?

I have to fly out of SeaTac in a couple of weeks (to Burbank)... should be almost as bad as SFO.

There have been instances for a few years now of people pointing lasers at planes flying into Sea-Tac, and I have been wondering if these have been tests.

You can pray all you wish, but action is what is needed. Be it boycotts, protests or continually speaking out, we the people must stand up and take action against this encroachment of our God given rights.

It may not be in the Bible, but there is much wisdom in the statement “God helps those that help themselves.”

I have asked a few lawyers about this trend of banning the recording of police. They have all said it is a violation of our constitutional rights. Yet it continues and we slide further down the slope.

Oh, I know there is a God in heaven and that He will hear and answer our prayers...if we ask Him. It seems that many in our land have placed their faith in Gov rather than God and that does not bode well. God has not been kind to the wicked and a society that allows the innocent unborn to be murdered and uses our tax dollars to pay for it is pretty wicked. For the first time in a long time there are more pro-lifers that pro-deathers but we must work to change the law to reflect the will of the people. That seems to be happening less and less. I know that God will prevail over evil, but I have a new baby granddaughter and I don’t want her to live her life in the darkness. That is why I pray and ask others to do the same.

It’s also the very same reason they are pushing high speed rail projects as “the way of the future” and not putting any money into maintaining or improving roads and bridges. They want people out of cars and into mass transit systems that are government controlled (and taxpayer funded). They will be putting scanners in these stations and long haul bus stations and metro/subway stations.

I agree that action is needed but may I suggest that we begin each action with prayer. Our actions just may be more productive.
I believe that “God helps those who help themselves” but usually not unless they ask.

I can already hear the security argument that they cannot allow anyone to record their process.

I just don't see them winning this argument. Any member of the public can walk into the airport, stand near the checkpoint and watch, with his own eyes, everything that happens there. A terrorist can even buy a few tickets, fly around the country for a day or two and be given a personal demonstration of those patdown procedures.

In other words, you can't claim secrecy of something that is done to the general public. There is no public interest in concealing the details of the search; quite opposite - the public wants records of these searches for accountability of the TSA.

But as things are unfolding, soon passengers will need to bring their lawyers along to the TSA checkpoint. It's a good idea already. You don't need to go to North Korea any more to have your rights violated; this service is now available at your local airport.

It seems to me that if I were a young, hungry lawyer I'd set up camp near a checkpoint and offer my services to victims of the TSA. I wouldn't be waiting for long.

Could missile targeting be assisted by someone on the target, such as a passenger with a small, low power homing device?

As ex 98C MI Dude already mentioned, MPADS don't have such a function. The reason is quite simple: it is highly improbable that an enemy aircraft will have one of those beacons handy. But there are a few laser-guided missiles (Sweden’s RBS-70 and Britain’s Starstreak.)

In this case the passenger jet already is equipped with a few very powerful beacons; they are called "engines" and they are as bright as Sun to the infrared sensor of the missile; they are plenty fast to be fired in the "tail chase" mode and catch up with the target.

There were several MPADS attacks on civilian airplanes (see the link.) Out of eight attacks seven resulted in hits, and one miss is attributed to the wrong (training) missile being used, as it had no guidance system. In other words, an MPADS attack is most likely going to end up in a shootdown.

The Crusaders were very successful with muslims. They roasted muslims and ate them. They lied and slaughted them. And muslims were scared out of their wits. The Crusaders could have succeeded if they had been just a little less petty and more unified.

Our nation is 90% petty and far less unified. Why? The Ruling Class — we need to neuter our great leaders.
