A suspected war criminal who allegedly played a key role in the slaughter of 40,000 civilians in Sri Lanka has landed a cushy job at the United Nations - with full diplomatic immunity. Shavendra Silva arrived in New York after his troops defied international pleas and shelled a no-fire zone packed with women, children and elderly refugees, according to observers. [This is no shock to anyone. The Oil-for-Food scam was the biggest financial swindle of the century; U.N. agents molested children in Africa; the U.N. is an anti-Semitic and anti-American organization run by Third World thugs which is completely dysfunctional. What IS a shock is why American taxpayers continue to house and fund such an organization.

The taxpayers COULD have a say in the matter if they voiced their sense of outrage to their elected officials and held them ACCOUNTABLE for such an outrage. (Novel idea!)
