I think he was just wandering the halls and smelled pizza. “Hi, Guys, let me grab a slice....see ya.”

“Dropped by” is just the positive twist to “made an appearance”...at least the Zero can not be accused of micro managing his administration.

OK. This may not be as bad as it sounds. Here's what I figure is happening.

NK is about to start nuclear war as a cover while China to blow up our west coast cities, see.

And, and, Obama doesn't want the world to think that he is too eager to deal with this "minor skirmish". So, by just “dropping by” a meeting of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, wink, wink, he is sending the message that, hey, no sweat. He is WAY in charge of things. So in charge, that he doesn't even have to bother to show up to a gathering of decision makers trying to figure out how to prevent Apocalypse. Being President is easy, when you are as smart as our our Commander In Chief!

Maybe they thought they’d get more done if he wasn’t there. He doesn’t have anyhting to offer and they know it.

“So, guys, find out
A: whose side are we on?
B: How is this somebody else’s fault?

Get those answers to Biden tonight at the latest.

And... er... remember there is no “I” in “team”!”

“His trip a few weeks ago was a total failure...”

Funny. He goes to Asia and looks like a total dweeb. A weakling with Zero credibility, inept diplomatic skill and tanking support at home.

Then, bam. NK launches an attack.

Could there somehow be a correlation?

Yeah, there have been a number of stories that are completely consistent with this. He “drops by”, doesn’t really do anything, and then leaves.

The amazing thing is that this is completely consistent with what is widely rumored in the legal community about his tenure as the ostensible President of the Harvard Law Review 20 years ago. He was never around, would show up to put in his face time when there was a deadline looming, but there was some responsible managing editor who actually did all the work and got the publication out. Dude has NEVER worked an honest day’s labor in his life. Some things never change.

Oh, they must have needed donuts and ice cream.

Why else would they call him?

Hey, lay off Obamolester. Unca Joe said just the other day he's aloof because...

...he's just so damned brilliant that it's almost painful having that huge brain of his!

If that contrail off the West Coast was actually from a missile, how would it fit into today's NKOR scenario?

Reuters Pictures 24 minutes ago U.S. President Barack Obama (R) is briefed on the situation on the Korean peninsula in the White House Situation Room in Washington November 23, 2010. The United States urged restraint on Tuesday following a North Korean artillery attack on South Korea and vowed to forge a "measured and unified" response with major powers, including China. North Korea fired several dozen artillery shells at a South Korean island in one of the heaviest bombardments of the South since the Korean War ended in 1953, sharply increasing tensions on the divided peninsula.

He actually was looking for the Tuesday night gala.

Those galas helps the anointed one to recapture the fun and exhilaration of the campaign. Come to think of it, the campaign never ended for 0bummer.

He can’t stay at the meeting very long. The Bulls are playing the Lakers at 7:30pm.

Dropped By to ask “Who the hell woke me up at 3:55am?”

You've got that right. He doesn't roll out of bed until 11am. On weekends & holidays, he sleeps late.

Off to the golf course!

Nice to know he's dedicated to the job.

Running for president was much more fun than being president. Were it not for rubbing elbows with celebs at White House galas and incessant paid vacations he might resign.
