“I paid for the house, that’s all I’ll say about it. The house is paid for in full,” Summers said.

Oh, I'm sure that's all he'll say.

Because if he were to actually describe how he "paid" for his house, he would be admitting to fraud.

The house is not paid for in full, which is why the bank has foreclosed on him and will evict him.

Legal tender should be anything that people will accept

Of course it shouldn't.

The entire point of having legal tender is to have a standard which everyone is required to accept for the satisfaction of an obligation.

Were that not the case, then creditors could take advantage of debtors by continually changing the goalposts of what they are willing to accept to satisfy a debt.

Soon creditors will be saying that about the US dollar.

Not really germane to the thread.

However, the creditors of the US have far shakier economies than they are willing to admit.

China is essentially an enormous Greece with an even worse entitlements mismatch.

NONE of McVeigh’s or Rudolph’s actions were related to their sketchy relationships with militia types

Neither are the militias that McVeigh is known to befriended nor Rudolph’s associated with sovereignty groups

You keep making assumptions that fit your scenarios

Sometimes people are just whacked, sometimes they are associated with muslims from Iraq like McVeigh and sometimes they are lunatic murders like Rudolph.

I know several people in the sovereignty-ish movements, those who heavily pursue Obama and the birth certificate issue issue and such who would NEVER associate with a militia knowingly and would disassociate themselves from that association once it was found out.

You are making a straw man argument based on innuendo, not proven association just because you dont like that man’s methods of dissent.
