FINDLAY, Ohio (AP) -- Katherine Miller got pretty good at hiding her sexuality in high school, brushing off questions about her weekend plans and referring to her girlfriend, Kristin, as "Kris."

She figured she could pull it off at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, too.

If she quit the USMA, did she reimburse the Army for the free education she was given? She chose to violate the contract she signed to get out, as far as I know, so why hasn’t she made restitution?

This woman knew the rules when she applied to West Point and now she whines about 'having to lie about who she is'? She is a female that prefers other females as sex partners. That's it. This is absurd. What she really wants is to have the military's rules changed to accommodate her sexual perversity while she attends the academy on the taxpayers dime. how many liberals who are straight would be comfortable sharing berthing facilities with a gay person? That is the one question they do not ask. This can really be critcial when you lack privacy and deployed for months at a time when the desires raise up. In Dessert Storm 30% of female sailors shipped home due pregancy including those married and separated from hubby.
I for one recall the odor created every month especially when you lack adequate washing facilities for females. It was bad enough between males..

For now, Miller is attending Yale University and taking three classes, including U.S. lesbian and gay history and sexual gender in society - courses not found at the academy.

She has found freedom in the school's gay community and likes staying up late. Still, her heart is in West Point.

She is full of sh!t. She wanted to go to West Point just to say she went to West Point. How do you attend the premier military school and not understand that the Military is NOT about YOU? She does not belong amongst those willing to serve, she is too self centered. Obviously there were other others who CHOSE to NOT make an issue about their sexuality and forge through. If the only way you can function in life is to identify with you sex life then the military is not the place for you, find something else more suited to your "identity".

For instance, I never wanted children. I'm a female that has no interest in having and raising kids. I got a lot of flak for that, "You're not a real woman," and "you're a biological dead-end," and "you're selfish and there is something wrong with you."

Anyone who would say those things to you is stupid beyond belief. Having or not having children has to be one of the most personal decisions one could make.

In better days, no lesbian would be accepted in the military academies. In the best of days, no women were admitted to the military academies. We live in the worst of days when lesbians and feminists run the military. I am thankful that our military has only had to fight the likes of Iraqis and Afghans. If they had to fight the Viet Cong or the North Koreans, they would be hauling female corpses away by the truck load. I would like to see how long these lesbians would last in the Hanoi Hilton. These people have no clue what it means to fight a really nasty war.
