Hmmmmm...the pieces are starting to fit together.

A mysterious missiled flies through the skies off the coast of California. The world sees our tepid response and hears our ludicrous explanation.

A couple of weeks later, one of China's client states launches a serious barrage of artillery against one of our allies. Our media plays it down as if it was one or two shells when, in fact, it was an hour-long attack featuring dozens of shells at the very least.

Now this.

Hmmmmmmm...

Nuke Peking's gov and military centers and knock out their satellites now, no warning. Those cruise missiles are getting itchy.

Then announce, "All your Wal-Mart toys belong to us!"

That is NOT what they said.

They said that joint exercises within the disputed area would be provocative. (D’uh)

They said that exercises outside of the normal 200 mile boundary are fine.

Obviously, they cannot really do anything out exercises in international waters. However, I do not see how productive it is to hang out in the NORKs face and just provoke them more.

The ROKs were operating in waters that have been disputed for sixty years.

Yes, the guy in the cage (Dum Sung Un) might be crazy, but that doesn’t mean its OK to stand around him and poke him with a stick.

This is not the “restrained” take I understood it as explained on FoxNews online headline:

“Beijing’s protest, in a statement from the Foreign Ministry Friday, was noticeably more restrained than when the U.S. announced similar plans, involving the same aircraft carrier, in July.

“We hold a consistent and clear-cut stance on the issue,” the statement quoted Hong Lei, a Foreign Ministry spokesman, as saying. “We oppose any party to take any military actions in our exclusive economic zone without permission.””

You have a muslim in the white hut. What do you think? The Chinese now think we are a joke.

Idiots watch TV which spews “stupid weak white men” commercials on all channels. Idiots elected a saudi mole to run the country 7 years after 911.

If I were a Chinese bureaucrat - I would not respect America. They understand how we allowed TV and the MSM to make us hostages to political correctness.

Anyone who thinks what is going on in Korea is not approved or even arranged by the chicoms has another thought coming.

The Korean War never ended, there is a truce or ceasefire that has been in effect since 53, nothing more. The Korean War was won by the US led UN forces UNTIL the chicoms attacked across the Chinese boarder and almost turned the “police action” into a rout. In effect, it ended in what was almost trench style stalemate warfare from WW1.

Truman should have used MacArthur’s idea of the us backing Chang’s army in an effort to take back main land China from Mao’s Commies. Anyway, that is all ancient history now except for the fact China tacitly calls the shots in N Korea. Chinese and Russian squabbling has been reduced, mostly by Putin, so the Chinese are free to stick the US in the eye whenever they want citing we have no interest in Eastern Asia ascerting Korea as a sphere of their influence. Japan should take notice of these events as their future is somewhat intermingled here too as is Vietnam’s.
(o)bama with his naive pacifist notions will crank up the teleprompter and probably restate the mission of the aircraft carriers. Quite a bit different than when the chicoms made some posturing about a fleet move between Taiwan and China wherein China said don’t do it and we said FU, it is the open seas and we intend to use them which I believe happened under Bush II. Maybe they should confir with Quafafi about freedom of the seas and naval passages.

Can it be California instead? That would solve several problems at once.

America has a problem the Whiner in Chief is on the Second Floor of the Whine House with an Ice bag and 12 stitches to his pie hole, because he probably got mouthy to some one else and the elbow went up and hit him in the mouth.

He will be unable to talk to anyone for a couple of days. he will chicken out again. Soon we can call him president chickenpoop.

hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

We and S. Korea did not sink his naval ship and kill 47 sailors for nothing. We didn't fire a massive barrage of artillery into N. Korea killing for of its citizens. We haven't entered into political agreements and then break them flagrantly. Poke the little bastard harder only make em bleed.

I don't like the idea of him throwing a hissy-fit just at this particular time.

"North Korea" is Chinese for "plausible deniability."

Don't think for a second that North Korea or Pakistan has the technology to create nuclear weapons on their own. The former was given to harass China's enemies in Japan, South Korea, and Australia. The latter was given to counterbalance India.

This is another in a long series of probing attacks, and it was already either tacitly approved or backed by the Chinese. NoKorea is a wholly owned subsidiary of China, Inc., and claims to the contrary that the Chinese are "increasingly worried," or "embarrassed" by their hand-puppets on the Korean peninsula are a lot of smoke.

"China has warned against military activity near its coastline ahead of U.S.-Korea naval exercises, according to Reuters ..."

How soon before the ChiComs demand that we pull out of South Korea? How soon before the ChiComs demand that we leave Japan, Guam, American Samoa or surrender the Pacific islands that America owns or administers (Midway etc.)? How soon before the Chicoms demand the America withdraw its naval forces from Pearl Harbor and shut the base down because they find it too threatening or because its existence may constitute a "provocation" and an obstacle to peace in the Pacific?

How soon before the ChiComs demand Australia be given to them?

I say America should tell them to go to hell!
