Wherever there is a tyrannical government in trouble, you’ll find Jimmy Carter there to defend them. Case in point, his op-ed on behalf of North Korea, published Wednesday in the Post. It begins:
No one can completely understand the motivations of the North Koreans, but it is entirely possible that their recent revelation of their uranium enrichment centrifuges and Pyongyang’s shelling of a South Korean island Tuesday are designed to remind the world that they deserve respect in negotiations that will shape their future.
Every word of this paragraph is false, willfully ignorant or humiliatingly stupid. Take your pick. For starters, the motivations of the North Koreans are perfectly transparent. They run a backwards communist dictatorship which survives by starving its people, counterfeiting US $100 bills, and saber rattling until we agree to bail them out for a few more years. So the fact that they are once again threatening nuclear enrichment and war against the south is the most predictable course of events imaginable.

Don’t know just how useful he is to anyone...... I mean, to be a successful ‘useful idiot’ a successful tool, he’d have to have some credibility with more than the fifteen or so percent of people who actually admire him. He’s left toooo many bad memories in his wake.

Carter is trying to understand Kim Il Jong & son, when in fact it’s pretty simple: they’re barking nuts.

Since I doubt Carter is every bit as stupid as Barry, I'm sure he knows that what the word actually means. If we're going to talk about what those in power in NK deserve, then we need to specify which percentage of them need to be starved to death, which percentage need to be tortured to death, and which percentage just need to slowly rot away in prisons fed barely enough to survive and denied medical care as well as clothing so they're more likely to die of exposure. That's the sort of thing they pass out to the majority in NK so that's what they deserve.
The fact that Jimmy loves them doesn't change reality. When you translate his comments from Jimmy-ese to English he means, "I can go visit them again and look like a diplomat again instead of everyone just comparing me to Barry and debating which of us is the biggest wimp and worst President".

This is a good article pointing out the disgusting truth about Carter’s scam. I’m going to carry it one step further. I bet nobody’s got an answer.
The author points out that all North Korea ever does is rattle sabers, starve its people and counterfeit American one hundred dollar bills. Kim Jong-Il is an absolute dictator so Carter’s reference to the people of North Korea having a bright future is a lie as the people have no say at all in the matter.
North Korea blackmails the U.S. so we’ll give him money as he threatens the south. He’s a brutal man and has jails all across his country, working citizens to death for the crimes of their parents.
And every time there’s a nasty dictator killing people there’s Jimmy Carter out there defending, telling lies that everyone, come on, EVERYONE, knows are lies.
He doesn’t do this stuff for free. You know he doesn’t do it for free. Somewhere, maybe in a trust, maybe as a donation to a charity that he administers for 90% of the income, money flows into Carter’s hands, perhaps a swiss account?
I don’t blame Carter. The man’s got a scam going and he’s been at it for many years. I don’t even blame the Democrat party....they surround this sack of bilge because he is a former Democrat President and they don’t want to cast aspersions on Democrat president.

Let’s just say, one week, we have...say...John Boehner, even the beloved media fave, John McCain...Mitch McConnell. How about they start repeating, like the Democrats do so well, what a chisel cheat this Carter is, hell, even repeat the words of this Blogger for God’s sake...just those words in an Op-Ed maybe in the Wall St. Journal perhaps.
Point it, with an organized effort by the pubs this terrible man can be shut down. And I know some of you might argue that the media won’t play it...that’s old hat. The pubs write plenty in the Wall Street Journal...then it becomes political discussion for the pundits, there’s ways.
The pubs, they’re just too damn polite to a former president...with their blow dried hair and polished nails.
Finally, I’ll throw it out there, does anybody really believe Sarah Palin will sit around and continue this silly charade?
People are dying at the hands of these dictators and Jimmy Carter helps them along. WHERE’S THE OUTRAGE?
If his record as an ex-president is factored in, Jimmah Caahtah is giving the anointed one a run for his money for worst president honors.
