I received the most heartfelt letter yesterday in my PM. As it serves to discuss the greater issue I am reprinting it here along with my response.
Dear Coffee Man,
I have been following your writings here on Election Ink as well as on the Huffington Post and feel you might be someone who will take the time to help me with a moral question.
My eight year old daughter recently came home from school with the most disturbing story. Imagine my surprise when she began telling me after seeing a picture of our president on the kitchen television, about how he is over-his-head and not up to the job.
I was shocked. When I asked her how she heard such things she explained how her teacher in school was talking about it with another teacher in the hallway.
Naturally, at her age she isnt able to grasp the meaning and is simply repeating, but I ask you. What is the right thing to do here.
We cant have our teachers filling our childrens heads with such things. I honestly dont know what to do.
You were correct that this is a situation that must be dealt with immediately. President Obama is too important to the country, the world, and your child to allow someone like this who is trusted with your child each day to frankly lie in front of them.
The question here is do we as Americans have a duty to report anti-Obama statements. The answer is yes. You have no choice and this applies to statement made by co-workers as well.
You should report this incident to the local press, the school board, and most importantly, the local teacher union. They know what to do with people like this. Trust me.
Contact your local Coffee Party and arrange for a protest in front of the teachers home as well. Only by paying a price for standing against President Obama will others learn. You cant go too far. As a result of your efforts, other teachers will learn the lesson.
Immediately, place your daughter into counseling. Your complaints to the school will force them to pay for the treatments for as long as they take. Your daughter has been injured. I am personally so very very sorry.
Of course, you may wish to leave this clown a greeting.
This is from 0bamabot in northern California.
What a douchebag...!
If they’re planning to respond to every anti-Obama joke or remark, they’d better pack a lunch. And may I suggest decaf?
Is this for real? So we’ve gone from “dissent is patriotic” to “report them to the union...they’ll know what to do” thug tactics. Nice, and they wonder why true freedom-loving patriots hate them so.
LOL! Decaff definitely
Apparently it is for real.
Here’s one for him to check out:)

I have nothing but contempt for totalitarians like “Coffee Man”. Here’s wishing them bad luck.
Our Duty as good Nazis to Report Anti-Fuhrer-Obama Statements
Conservatives pledge their loyalty to either the constitution or the concept of liberty, Liberals pledge their loyalty and undying devotion to their “Great leaders”. lol
How dare anyone speak out against our “Great leader”! lol
I take that back liberals do have a Constitution of sorts, Their Constitution not only pledges undying devotion to their leaders it also pledges to persecute Christan in favor of minority religions such as Islam or atheism.
I’m surprised that he didn’t want a cross burnt the teachers yard.
Seig heil ! Badmouthing Dear Leader will NOT be tolerated ! < / sarc>
Hey dude, are you going to start reporting your own supporters? Velma Hart is even more disolusioned now that she has lost her job because of economic cutbacks spawned from the wonderful job the Post Turtle is doing.
truly crazy people don’t realize how crazy they are...
"Report the teacher to the Teacher's Union"? Yeah, it implies what we all believe: that if you report a teacher bad-mouthing Zero, he'll get canned; if he was caught bad-mouthing W, he'd get promoted!
I think it's a very good lampooning of the wacky, looney left.
Runaway bride look, must be “troubled”.
There, now report me again.
