The articles published today and in coming days are based on thousands of United States embassy cables, the daily reports from the field intended for the eyes of senior policy makers in Washington. The New York Times and a number of publications in Europe were given access to the material several weeks ago and agreed to begin publication of articles based on the cables Sunday online. Hey New Yawk Slimes! Bite me you treasonous bass turds!
Same antiAmerican bigotry as was the case with the Pentagon Papers.
Yes. Traitors. I agree.
Oh good grief this is what passes for “ethical journalism” today?
The NYT is going to try and spin these into successes for Obama? Good luck with that.
I object to the double standards involved in release of classified information. I am led to believe I would face the third degree if I were to release anything classified, but Wikileaks, Sandy Berger and the New York Times misuse classified information with impunity.

But...but...I thought that since these communications were stolen the content doesn’t mean anything...kinda like Climategate.
Meanwhile the exposure of Valerie Plame was the worst crime in the history of the universe. The Wikileaks exposure of thouaands of American sources in foreign governments, many of whom are going to die horrible deaths over this, is somehow "valuable" and "illuminating."
The thread immediately before this one is just choc full of neat ideas for how the Regime should deal with the gayblades at the NYT espionage clearing house ~ to wit: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2634131/posts

LEAKING AMERICAN SECRETS TODAY
LEAKING AMERICAN SECRETS IN THE PAST
Maybe we will finally find out what zer0s natural born birth certificate says.
The deeper we get into this treacery the more I get a sick feeling we are doomed!! When The United States is finally destroyed the world will realize that they have destroyed the last hope of freedom.
Then we will see how in favor they are of publishing this stuff.
