(And So It Begins) McCaskill: How I'm not like Obama
The Hill ^ | NOVEMBER 28, 2010 | Bridget Johnson

Posted on 11/28/2010 5:53:48 PM PST by RobinMasters

Facing a tough re-election campaign in 2012, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) tried to set herself apart from President Obama on Sunday.

Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," McCaskill said that she'd voted against the president on cap-and-trade, the second round of cash-for-clunkers, comprehensive immigration reform and every omnibus bill.

McCaskill said she'd also sometimes disagreed with Obama when he was a senator.

"My record of independence, frankly, stretches back for a long period of time," she said.

When asked to name an issue where Obama had fallen short, the senator said his move into healthcare legislation at a time when he should have been focusing on job creation was "very difficult," and therefore economic issues "didn't get the attention they needed."

I love the fact that the next round of traitors realize that even though it is 2 years out, they need to back pedal starting now.. Time to keep the pressure up.

I wonder how their voting records will look over the next 2 years. They need to be reminded of the tea party presence a couple times a day; they need to sweat.

Claire is TOAST in Missouri and not too soon.

She was tight as tick with Obama. Missourians were shown her colors and we will be electing a new Senator to represent US not the DNC.

Ask yourself this. Was she given a pass by Pelosi so she could opt out on those votes and save herself?

Her voting record doesn’t matter..she added one more seat to the Rat majority that wrote the rules and made this all possible. She’s a Rat not an independent. If she really doesn’t like the way things have been going..she can switch parties.

Claire's poll numbers must be in the toilet for her to already be claiming she is BamBam lite. I guess the rejection of old Ike Skelton has her worried.

Claire.... you helped with fervor to elect the Marxist! You can call yourself independent, but we see through your lies! Your script came straight off from Barack's teleprompter. Claire, YOU AND OBAMA are ONE!

"My record of independence, frankly, stretches back for a long period of time," she said.

Stretches clean back to November 2nd, I reckon.

Being an idiot does not disqualify you in the Democrat party. Just look at Boxer, Murray, Biden, Franken, Jackson Lee, Waters, etc. etc.
