Global warming is now such a serious threat to mankind that climate change experts are calling for Second World War-style rationing in rich countries to bring down carbon emissions.
In a series of papers published by the Royal Society, physicists and chemists from some of worlds most respected scientific institutions, including Oxford University and the Met Office, agreed that current plans to tackle global warming are not enough.
Unless emissions are reduced dramatically in the next ten years the world is set to see temperatures rise by more than 4C (7.2F) by as early as the 2060s, causing floods, droughts and mass migration.
As the world meets in Cancun, Mexico for the latest round of United Nations talks on climate change, the influential academics called for much tougher measures to cut carbon emissions....

Lawyers are the enemy, now more than ever.
Watch the wrap.
A bunch of rich, white, western elites gather in luxurious air conditioned hotels to dine on steak and lobster and complain about how everyone else is wasteful and destroying the environment.
Just another day in Obamaland.
It should read: Global warming is now such a serious threat to mankind that climate change experts are calling for Second World War-style rationing in rich countries to bring "them down to the level of third world countries."
To borrow from the movie ‘Alien’...”In Cancun no one can hear you scream.”
“Global warming is now such a serious threat to mankind that climate change experts are calling for Second World War-style rationing in rich countries to bring down carbon emissions.”
The next thing you know the liberals in the west will decide there are too many bodies in the developed world consuming too much per capita output in world resources and hence we need to eliminate 5 in every ten people in western developed nations to allow “emerging” nations (e.g. third world ) to develop fairly in the face of historical suppression of their societies.
Time to have China and India cut emissions, then.
Brought to you by the UN and GReenPeace.. nuff said..
Follow the money. Fascists reward their corporate partners. And we all thought Hitler was dead. Hah. THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL are environmentalists!!
why isn’t this conference being held in Copenhagen again????
What are they going to do with the perpetual, fastest growing segment of polluters in the world? The fastest developing largest economies of China and India? Wait till they all have cars.
What a crock!
Take a trip to Africa, India, China and wherever there are third world conditions, no one pays attention to emissions so why should it be harnessing the “West” (who do have emissions control and regulation)?
Will they participate?
No one is listening anymore, they can call all they want, there’s no answer.
All they will get is the middle finger.
Let them go to the root cause of the vehicle emissions- Saudi Oil! Tax the Saudis!lol
Legally Binding is a Surrender of National Sovereignty.
The UN and others are a cancer we should have nothing to do with.
If liberals are so Darwin, they should believe we ought to let all civilizations - example Haiti - go extinct so the fit can survive.
Did the attendees arrive by bicycle or sailboat?
These maggots, like Holdren, want us “de-developed” and poor to control us.
Mass third world immigration, taxation, unions, regulations and the GW lie are all parts of Soros grand plan of a New World Order.
Call me a tin hatter, I am right on the $$$.
Cheaper whores for the delegates in attendance.
Follow the dots. The only government capable of doing this is an autocratic, totalitarian government - very much one the efficient Chinese model proposed by Soros. I am not a Soros phobic as he is just one of many progressives with similar objectives. Whe he dies we will hardly notice his passing. His heir we immediately step up.
