I want that damn ban on lightbulbs lifted. Upton shouldn’t be chairman of ANY committee.

No kidding, you can't dim the lights with those stupid fluorescents.

They say that someone on Pelosi’s staff has been putting the roadblocks up to deny energy from biomass (forest undergrowth) as a qualified sutainable renewable form of energy. We have run into all sorts of legislative snags. We need Hastings to take over energy so that we can make progress on fuel reduction in western forests and harnessing of the biomass fr heat and energy. They are even on the cusp of implementing biofuel from cellulosic etahnol.

Shocking? There's nothing shocking about it. Conservatives here know that Upton's one of the two most liberal Republican congressmen in Michigan. The other is the soon to be retired after lame duck Vern Ehlers.

The good news is that Ehlers decided to retire instead of facing a primary against Justin Amash, a big improvement. The bad news is that Upton lost his primary to conservative Jack Hoogendyk.

Luckily for Upton, I'm in Tim Walberg's district instead.
