A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters say the current economic problems are due to the recession which began under the Bush administration.

What they forget to add is that the recession was triggered by Democrat policies and evil financial billionaires like George Soros.

on domestic issues, Bush sucked and surrounded hmself with RINOS and RATS. Paulson came straight from Goldman Sachs, the biggest rat-infested operation of Wall Street. Whose ass was saved in the bailout? Who became a commercial bank in the blink of an eye? (Goldman)

Who orchestrated the transfer of the people’s wealth to Goldman, JP Morgan, Citi and Bank of America?

George W. Bush’s appointees.

Well, Obama is ten times more responsible for this mess than Bush.

But let’s face it. Bush was a total loser when it came to earmarks, pork, and spending. How about “No child left behind”? or Medicare prescriptions? And how about the unlimited pork that went out the door during his term, and nothing said.

He did do a very good tax cut, for which he deserves credit. But he was a big spenderm on stupid stuff. And when the Democrats took over congress because his base was unhappy with him, he did little or nothing to block their spending or even to protest it out loud.

And he rushed to pass the bailout. And he agreed to the Government Motors takeover.

Sure, Obama is the real villain. But Bush gave the MSM propagandists plenty to work with, unfortunately.

“Began under the Bush administration” is slightly different than what the headline implies”

I would even say it's completely different than what the headline implies.

If you ask who is reasonable for the economy today. You would get a completely different answer.
Heck, I would have even said the recession started under the Bush administration. However, we are still in it because of the Obama administration.

“Began under the Bush administration” is slightly different than what the headline implies, and doesn’t take into account the democrat-controlled congress since 2006

Hello! Or the stupid, lazy dumb @sses who locksteped to vote a liberal/socialist as president hoping for easy change and are not happy with what they got. Bush is their scape goat. There will be hell to pay for their decisions.

And people here on FR are still blaming Clinton for all sorts of things. He hasn’t been seen in the Oval Office in...ten years, has it been?

Here's what I blame him for. You can review his comments, even at the links that defend him, and decide for yourself.
