The Obama faction is pushing one of the most blatant BIG LIE campaigns ever seen to push open homosexuality in the military.

Now we’ll see if the lame duck Congress rejects “don’t ask, don’t tell.” If they do, it will be hell to pay, especially during war time.
I just saw Gates on the news, touting the “fact” that “two-thirds of military personnel have no issue with repealing DADT” (or words to that effect).
I knew it was a lie when I heard him spew it.
Naturally, the newscasters didn’t blink, nor did they question what he said.

It was poorly worded. As a reservist, I was randomly picked to answer it, as was my wife. It was worded so poorly that one could not clearly articulate their opposition to the proposed policy change.
It wasn’t exactly a “push poll”, but it seemed like one when I took the survey. I was thoroughly disgusted that it was not possible to say what I trully thought because of the wording of questions. About the only way you could show disdain for the proposal was to say you would leave military service or not recommend it to another if homosexuals could serve openly. You could indicate it would hurt unit cohesion, but it was very hard to do so by the wording.
Frankly, I've never seen such a blatant example.

Shepperd Smith was just giddy when he announced the blatantly skewed poll results earlier today. I thought to myself then this nonsense will be exposed as a steaming pile o’ $H!T! Didn’t take long.

There's no way I can see that the Obama admin can get away with this lie. Hundreds of thousands of military folks are going to start chattering about this to the folks back home, who are going to start chattering about it all over the internet.

Short of saying what would have my post pulled and possibly getting banned from FR, there’s not much else to do. Look, the food crap just went through, no raises for the military but the freaking Congress will probably get theirs, increasing medical payments for military, Birthers still being bashed and the latest case refused by the Supremes, GOPers still voting with the Rats, I can’t believe we are where we are.

The thing about this report is the “combat units” the guys actually doing the fighting and engaging the enemy in close quarters combat are against it. We are going to shove this policy down the throats of the guys bearing the brunt of fighting. This will destroy the fabric of America’s infantryman, good luck with retention. Better start the draft.

What a slippery slope it has been. We go from homosexuality being an unnatural perversion and a crime, in fact a sin, to it being a DADT unmentionable, to being tolerable but unpopular, to being “genetic”,to being a protected class for discrimination purposes, to being acceptable, then finally to being promoted as a natural and equal alternative.

My guess is the Pentagon Brass - political generals who want to keep their jobs, would say anything the Obama Administration directs them to say about anything.
If they are as bright as that genius General Jack Keane that FOX interviewed today, NOTHING would surprise me.

Shepherd Smith (given - he’s a lib) asked this jerk about recent polls that showed that most Afghans in two Southern provinces didn’t know WHY we are there, and didn’t know anything about 9-11 and a significant number of them thought we were there to take away their religion, and this GENIUS responded “They don’t have to know........ most Americans don’t know things in the their own history...”

I thought we were not fighting a non-conventional war in Afghanistan in the sense that our presence there was in part political to win over the population and nation-build

The other poll bias is that people who are content with the way things are tend not to care or respond.

I tried to go to the Defense Department and click on the link for the primary report and then nothing on my computer worked. Everything locked up. I couldn’t even get the task manager to work to close the Internet. Finally I had to simply crash the computer and restart.
Why are the Chinese mad at me?
Does anyone have a link to the text of the original questions and the actual responses? Google and Yahoo simply list the top 300 newspapers and blogs parroting the same story without a thought in their pretty little heads. I would like a real source for real facts if one is available and won’t eat my computer.

God. That’s the same type of crap we get from DOD on our Tricare issues. DOD lies all the time. You should see the responses they send to Congress in response to a congressional inquiry.
Like any self respecting tyrants, they will continue to push until something breaks. I thought the drubbing the Dimtards received at the polls less than a month ago might be at least a speed bump to these treasonous bastards and bastardettes. But no. They are pushing even harder against the manifest will of the people. Their days are numbered and I think they know it so the blatant treason is an act of desperation. Their hope is they can "transform" the system enough so that it will take a conservative sweep in the next election to undo the carnage.
