Oh yeah, Jimmy.

You were SUCH an ACE dealing with them last time, we should REALLY listen to you NOW.

Next, tell us next how you would bring about financial prosperity for the nation like you did when YOU were President?

(Lord, what an asshat!)

Carter is such an expert on dealing with Iran. /s

The mistake is in the original and not in your headline, CC, but who writes these headlines for CBS News, anyway? It should be “effect” not “affect.”

The Left was pushing for sanctions against Iran instead of military action against the nuclear bomb program.

At the time, I pointed out how the Left whined about the “victims” of the sanctions against Saddam (while at the same time Saddam was building billion dollar palaces).

The Left exists to complain and tear down the U.S.. No other goal or cause.

Somebody at CBS doesn't know the difference between "affect" and "effect".

Somebody at CBS doesn't know the difference between "Jimmy Carter" and "stale old turkey".

Then again, THAT part is hard...

"Effect," not "Affect."

What Is the Difference Between Affect and Effect?

The majority of the time you use affect with an a as a verb and effect with an e as a noun.

 When Should You Use Affect?

Affect with an a means "to influence," as in, "The arrows affected Ardvark," or "The rain affected Amy's hairdo." Affect can also mean, roughly, "to act in a way that you don't feel," as in, "She affected an air of superiority."

When Should You Use Effect?

Effect with an e has a lot of subtle meanings as a noun, but to me the meaning "a result" seems to be at the core of all the definitions. For example, you can say, "The effect was eye-popping," or "The sound eff

If Jimmuh Carter is against them we should implement them as fast as possible.

He should publicly kiss Obammy on the ass for removing his legacy as the worst president EVER

What a total STOOGE. Within the past couple of weeks this buffoon has become a stalking horse advancing the Obamunist agenda to destroy America.

First he told us how the Dear Reader was going to be much tougher. The Obamunist sit back and gauge the public and useful idiot reaction.

Now this total TOOL is publicly proposing to eliminate sanctions against the Obamunist’s Muslim masters.

Two points:
1) No one else is STUPID enough to advance this line of “reasoning” in public except Billy Carter’s more stupid brother.
2) Sanctions must be working.

Who writes these headlines, some third grader? It should be ‘effect’, not ‘affect’. Affect is nearly always a verb, except in psychiatric
terminology-and that meaning would not fit the headline, either. Effect means result, which is what Carter was referring to.

“The Left exists to complain and tear down the U.S.. No other goal or cause.”

Which is why we need to remove these vermin from the country or we will ALL become slaves or corpses. The leftists have successfully bred 30-50 million fellow vermin. The measures necessary to remove this blight are almost impossible. Even the far right is too stupid to realize that they need to put their lives on hold to deal with this threat immediately.

This is why I believe that everything is completely lost forever. The world is doomed to darkness.
