Does this guy even know what the role of the F-22 is? It’s A2A superiority, not a ground strike craft. The Norks don’t have anything worth the F-22s time.

BINGO. And in addition you don't forward base them where the other guy can catch them with a surprise attack. In the air the F-22 is darn near invincible. On the ground it is just another target. If we need F-22s in theater keep them in Japan. If we are starting the war they can be moved up. If the North Koreans start the shooting they would either have to bring Japan into the war or fight them in the air.

Moving F-22s onto a Korean air base would be another grand jesture trumping strategic thinking. Like moving the Pacific Fleet from San Diego to Pearl Harbor in 1940. And likely to have similar results.
