EDITORIAL: The New Gay Army on parade--Pentagon promotes rigged 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' report
The Washington Times ^ | December 1, 2010 | Editorial

Posted on 12/01/2010 4:57:24 PM PST by jazusamo

The Pentagon on Tuesday released a long-awaited report intended to advance a key campaign promise made by then-Sen. Obama to the fringe activist groups that supported his presidential aspirations. Now as commander in chief, President Obama has made it clear to military brass that he expects them to embrace the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered) agenda. It should come as no surprise that the release of the military's new "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" survey was carefully orchestrated to accomplish this mission.

From the outset, the Pentagon had no interest in eliciting honest responses from the troops about whether the law outlawing homosexual conduct in the ranks should be preserved or repealed. Instead, soldiers, airmen, sailors and Marines were addressed in terms implying that repeal is inevitable. The Obama administration leaked selected results to sympathetic media to create the illusion that the troops have no problem stacking the barracks and submarines with homosexuals. The final report's release is a last-ditch effort to provide Democratic members of Congress the cover they need to ram through the law's repeal in the lame-duck session.

It isn't going to work. A closer examination of the headline result shows that 63 percent of respondents live off-base or in civilian housing and consequently answered that a change in policy might not affect them. Those in combat roles - where unit cohesion and trust are life-and-death concerns - gave a different response. About half with combat experience said a change would have a negative or very negative impact in the field or at sea...

No kidding, we could put an end to this pro-longed controversy real quick by advocating a draft of all gays and lesbians and put them in their own units and put them in harm’s way. Problem solved.

I have done the same and I am sad that my families strong tradition of military service will come to an end because of thie act. Four of us have retired from the Military with over 105 years of total service just among the four of us. I have advised a nephew and my daughter not to join.

I expect there will be a lot of "accidents". No way is a combat troop going to depend on someone who is undependable. They just won't be trusted.

The gays who can be trusted are perfectly comfortable with "don't ask, don't tell". I would imagine their closest friends know, but they don't need to shove their lifestyle in the faces of casual acquaintances.

I believe you said it well and I have no doubt that’s correct.

Only one problem - they plan to re-institute the draft.

Read the official pentagon’s website. It appears clear to me that they are already prepared to implement the repeal of DADT. You can read it for yourselves without my spin.

I predict that the minute DADT is repealed and the gays are free to be themselves in the open, there will be no curbs against hitting on straight service people. Any military person who REJECTS the advances of a gay will be deemed guilty of a HATE CRIME.

Kinda reminds me of this:

Sgt. Steve Brick: We've decided that these people work to the best of their ability in their own environment. That's why we've formed a special Gay Brigade.

I used to suggest to young adults who weren’t sure what direction they wanted to go, to look into joining the military. Today. I would NEVER tell them that.

Repealing this is a nightmare. I know I am preaching to the choir but......

Statistically the average age of those serving are in their 20’s. Gay or straight you have a very high sex drive.

When confined to an installation it is natural to form cliches, usually because of the same likes, hobbies, whatever, something in common. With Gays serving open, they will naturally gravitate to one another because of their common bond. They will become their own group, a group which will be sexually attracted to one another. Just like if you put 6 girls and 6 guys together 24/7 the sexual tensions will naturally happen.

One other point, once this is repealed the next demand will be for gay marriage. The argument will be, they can go to war and die for us and fight for our freedeoms but they can’t marry?? They will play that card in a minute!

They will play that card in a minute!

I've not the slightest doubt you're correct. I also believe that's why the LGBT has been pushing this so hard, it's a huge inroad for them.

"So, because we know the CIC does not really care about the gay lobby, and this is the only supporting action he has taken for them, then the reason must be the destruction of the greatest military on earth. Agreed?"

The number of friendly fire incidents in war zones will increase by a factor of 10.

The overall effectiveness of the various branches will suffer greatly...with the possible exception of the Air Force where close living is far less.

Example: Imagine yourself in a berthing compartment of a ship at sea...45 racks or so. Then imagine your worry that you picked the wrong rate because the majority of the senior NCOs were homo...along with 8-10 of the rest of the compartment.

After 100 days at sea or so, you're going AWOL at the first civilized port. Maybe any port.

Republicans should solicit a report that asks would it be ok if men and women were berthed together in close quarters situations where they had to share shower facilities and sleeping quarters and lets see how this is any different then allowing the gays to do it.

The psychological impact on the straight people will be a form of sexual harrasement, why do they feel they need to flgrantly display their sexuality?

As it is now with DADT at least straight people can assume that the people they are showering and sleeping with aren’t gay even if they are gay because they can’t openly state or flaunt their gayness.

I don’t really know, but do they have separate barracks for the men and the women? Does this mean they will have to have to have a whole new configuration?

1. The MEN

2. The WOMEN

3. gay (men) who like gay (men)

4. gay (men) who think they are (women).

4. gay (women) who like gay (women)

5. gay (women) who think they are (men)

6. The UNSURE

“Drop and give me fifty. NO GODDAMMIT, I meant PUSHUPS!”

“What do you mean we’re all out of gun grease???!!!”

“We used to have the greatest military in the world. Now, you people SUCK.”

May 24, 2010 – SPECIAL REPORT from WAYNE MADSEN.

Obama and Emanuel: Members of same gay bath house in Chicago

President Obama and his chief of staff Rahm Emanuel are lifetime members of the same gay bath house in uptown Chicago, according to informed sources in Chicago’s gay community, as well as veteran political sources in the city.

The bath house, Man’s Country, caters to older white men and it has been in business for some 30 years and is known as one of uptown Chicago’s “grand old bathhouses.” WMR was told by sources who are familiar with the bath house that it provides one-year “lifetime” memberships to paying customers and that the club’s computerized files and pre-computer paper files, include membership information for both Obama and Emanuel. The data is as anonymized as possible for confidentiality purposes. However, sources close to “Man’s Country” believe the U.S. Secret Service has purged the computer and filing cabinet files of the membership data on Obama and Emanuel.

Members of Man’s Country are also issued club identification cards. WMR learned that Obama and Emanuel possessed the ID cards, which were required for entry.

Obama began frequenting Man’s Country in the mid-1990s, during the time he transitioned from a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School to his election as an Illinois State Senator in 1996. Emanuel, reportedly joined Man’s Country after he left the Clinton White Hosue and moved back to Chicago in 1998, joining the investment firm of Wasserstein Perella and maintaining his membership during his 2002 campaign for the U.S. 5th District House seat vacated by Rod Blagojevich, who was elected governor.

Man’s Country appears to be a “one stop shopping” center for gay men. The club’s website advertises steam rooms, “fantasy rooms,” bed rooms, male strippers, adult movies, and lockers.
