EDITORIAL: The New Gay Army on parade--Pentagon promotes rigged 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' report
The Washington Times ^ | December 1, 2010 | Editorial

The Pentagon on Tuesday released a long-awaited report intended to advance a key campaign promise made by then-Sen. Obama to the fringe activist groups that supported his presidential aspirations. Now as commander in chief, President Obama has made it clear to military brass that he expects them to embrace the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered) agenda. It should come as no surprise that the release of the military's new "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" survey was carefully orchestrated to accomplish this mission.

From the outset, the Pentagon had no interest in eliciting honest responses from the troops about whether the law outlawing homosexual conduct in the ranks should be preserved or repealed. Instead, soldiers, airmen, sailors and Marines were addressed in terms implying that repeal is inevitable. The Obama administration leaked selected results to sympathetic media to create the illusion that the troops have no problem stacking the barracks and submarines with homosexuals. The final report's release is a last-ditch effort to provide Democratic members of Congress the cover they need to ram through the law's repeal in the lame-duck session.

It isn't going to work. A closer examination of the headline result shows that 63 percent of respondents live off-base or in civilian housing and consequently answered that a change in policy might not affect them. Those in combat roles - where unit cohesion and trust are life-and-death concerns - gave a different response. About half with combat experience said a change would have a negative or very negative impact in the field or at sea...

The report is faulty, and a lie. I have real fears in regards to what you imply and know there are enough problems with women serving with men without adding this into the mix.

Yep. They have an “Implementation Plan” all ready to go. Clear as day what their intention are. This has been carefully orchastrated from day one.

Any military person who REJECTS the advances of a gay will be deemed guilty of a HATE CRIME.

There will be homosexuals raping straights and other homos. Any bets these abuses won't be covered up by the brass?

Military readiness and efficiency will be affected by love triangles, spurned lovers and sex related violence. All you have to do is look at the way homos conduct themselves on civvy street. Any bets these problems won't be covered up by the brass?

If they approve of open homosexualism they might as well do away with the concept of male only / female only barracks. Homos don't need women and lezzies don't need men, so they will both be bunking right in the middle of their sexual targets.

Only the straights will be sleeping cold.

On some talk show today I heard that only 25% of the military sent the questionnaire even responded.

They were probably the smart ones who had doubts about how "anonymous" and "confidential" their responses would be if they gave other-than-PC answers.

“So, because we know the CIC does not really care about the gay lobby, and this is the only supporting action he has taken for them, then the reason must be the destruction of the greatest military on earth. Agreed?”

The only possible conclusion unless you believe he is stupid enough to think this WON’T destroy the American military. I don’t think he is very smart but I don’t think he is THAT stupid.

I should have said, “The non-responders were...”

Same sex sexual assaults have skyrocketed in recent years.
It’s already happening.

What does “Openly Homosexual” mean anyway? There was “Open Heterosexuality” at Tail Gate. They got drummed out.

homosexuals have favored status as political sex fetish lobbyist donors.

allowing homosexuals in the military is about ENDORSING their sexual fetish behavior. It is no different than requiring a soldier to be allowed to share private quarters with a sheep. (try putting that on a submarine)
