Why don’t they just cut the BS and call it welfare. No one gets unemployment for three years.
In some highly depressed areas, unemployment may be the only thing keeping their economy somewhat afloat, that and social security.

No they won’t. Talk to some of them, and you’ll see they are completely clueless. The useful idiots. They know but what ABC, CBS, and CNN tell them. That’s it. Nothing else. Everything is the “Republicans” fault. The Republicans are in control (They don’t even know WHO controls the Congress). They say they are willing to pay more taxes but do everything they can to find exemptions for themselves. They honestly, honestly, believe the US is evil and NEEDS to fall; believing somehow their lives will be unaffected. That is the enemy we are facing: our clueless fellow Americans.

Back in the thirty's when this happened the population was more disciplined. Not so now. Rioting is on the horizon and sadly I believe that is what the Communistas in power really want.
Well sure....Biggov sends out millions of these tiny checks to people, and those people spend those tiny checks...So sure, people spending the money like pay checks and giving the money to other employers....Cut all that out, and the employers/businesses eat it too....

I was working on equipment at an unemployment office when Carter got elected. All of the employees were so happy and saying unemployment would be over. As I was getting ready to leave, I commented that that would mean there would be no need for Unemployment Offices, which would mean they would get laid off, and there would be no Unemployment Offices for them to file their claim. What would they do??? They looked like the two guys in the photo.
