The House on Thursday formally censured Rep. Charlie Rangel for financial misconduct despite pleas from the New York Democratic lawmaker and some of his colleagues for a less punishing reprimand.
The House voted to censure Rangel 333-79.
Rangel, who became the 23rd House member to be censured, appeared at the front of the chamber while Speaker Nancy Pelosi read the resolution.

Now Obama has ffree reign to do his fascists thang in both Watts and Tamminy Hall.Just like he did in Kenya,in 2007.Only this time , unlike his predecessors, Obama won’t call out the national guard in LA and New York.
If I lived in those 2 cities, I would be ammo-ing up big time.(Then when citizens defend themselves , the left will try to end our 2nd amendment, after martial law is declared.)

It’s sickening to watch the media keep treating Rangel like a victim even after the censure vote.
If I ever get caught doing that many things wrong, I’ll ask the judge for “censure”. Surely he’ll see that censure would be far worse than an eight year term in Club Fed.
I can't see how he can live with himself now when he is feeling like people are treating him like a common criminal.
There has to be a better way for those who serve selflessly for so long just for the betterment of the people.

Censured and then what?
1) Does he pay the back taxes that he owes?
2) Does he pay a fine for mis-using his rent controlled apartments for political purposes?
3) Will he still be helping to write our tax laws?
If the answers are NO, NO and YES to the above, Censure is nothing but a lot of meaningless saliva.
I won’t mind simply being censured by the IRS if I don’ pay my taxes.
