...and today we see unemployment back on the rise.

Hussein's "pay freeze" is a joke. Hussein is a joke.

9.8% and moving up is no joke. I’m worried.

With the stimulus ending - expect MASSIVE local/city/county/state lay-offs.

For example - Camden, NJ (murder city USA) just laid off 50% of its police officers.

Expect to be repeated across America - up to 2 million to be laid-off.

Sorry, but this is chump change compared to the trillions that went to prop up bankrupt corporations and foreign banks. Not a day goes by without some new outrage!

I also looked but couldn't find this picture on the Heritage website, but I came across another interesting article and picture:

Obama Jobs Deficit Further Evidence of Failure

If the Republicans had run this in an ad before the election, we would have taken over the Senate also.

a lib site is reporting that private sector jobs have risen for over 12 straight months which is a good sign I think, It depends of course on the job and we all know gov’t jobs are out paying and out benefitting private sector

But the heritage graph ends in aug and if private sector jobs were added every month since then that helps the Libs view
and they are using that stat to max advantage

Do you think that would change the numbers?

Government UNION jobs.

The lay off of police officers is political grandstanding. Certainly there are many other over paid and fat cat positions in city hall that could be cut without jeopardizing public safety. The politicians will always lay off police officers, firefighters and teachers to show how much they need more tax money, yet no one will dare to touch administrators, union chiefs and bureaucrats. A perfect recent example was in Milwaukee where more than 100 teachers lost their jobs while the teachers union fought to keep a free Viagra benefit in the union contract that amounted to nearly a $1 million cost to the school district.

Obama said he was going to build a Presidential Army (Republican Guard ?).

Now you know how.

Alternate Unemployment Charts:

The seasonally-adjusted SGS Alternate Unemployment Rate reflects current unemployment reporting methodology adjusted for SGS-estimated long-term discouraged workers, who were defined out of official existence in 1994. That estimate is added to the BLS estimate of U-6 unemployment, which includes short-term discouraged workers.

The U-3 unemployment rate is the monthly headline number. The U-6 unemployment rate is the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ (BLS) broadest unemployment measure, including short-term discouraged and other marginally-attached workers as well as those forced to work part-time because they cannot find full-time employment.

From now on, government workers will be known as the DEMOCRAT NATIONAL ARMY (DNA). Government funded programs (ACORN) will be battalions in the DNA. The EPA is the lead battalion.

Camden has about a thousand police officers. They laid off the youngest, most up to day, lowest paid. ( Union rules ). So, about %15.
